摘要： An electrical connector, such as a domestic supply plug, utilizes a cartridge fuse (60) clamped within a receptacle or cage comprising two parts (61, 62) which snap engage together in a permanent fashion. The cage part (61 or 62) or both have spline or key formations (63) on an outer surface while the plug body (64) has a cavity (65) extending from an outer surface and includes channels or keyways (66) complementary to the spline or key (63) on the cage. The fuse and cage assembly may thus be pressed into the body of the plug with the spline forming the key such that only the correct fuse assembly may fit the chosen plug.

摘要： A lamp socket for a vehicle includes a central electrode having a substantially rectangular button-shaped terminal disposed at the central part of a circular disc-shaped insulator and a coil spring for normally biasing the insulator. The button-shaped terminal is fixedly connected to a cord via a caulking portion and has the same sectional contour as that of a through hole formed through the insulator at the central part of the latter so as to allow the button-shaped terminal to be inserted therethrough, and a fitting groove is formed on said insulator at the position located angularly offset from the through hole by an angle of about 90.degree. so as to enable the button-shaped terminal to be fitted into the fitting groove. A clip portion is disposed on the rear surface side of the insulator so as to firmly hold the button-shaped terminal by engaging the caulking portion with the clip portion when the button-shaped terminal is inserted through the through hole and then turned by an angle of 90.degree..

摘要： Mounting for an electric light with bayonet socket. The mounting for an electric light bulb bayonet socket is stamped from a sheet metal plate or from a sheet metal band. An opening is stamped into the sheet metal plate corresponding to about the diameter of the light bulb socket in order to allow insertion of the light bulb. The guide flaps for the light bulb socket are cut from a region of the sheet metal plate which is outside of the opening for the passage of the light bulb socket. The guide flap is bend around two axes vertical to each other such that the end sections after an arcuate shaped deformation form part of a circular cylinder shaped jack.

摘要： A light bulb is provided that may be hung from a ceiling and which does need any type of light fixture thereabout. The light bulb itself acts as a fixture and is connected to a light socket having a top cover plate and a mounting piece mounting the top cover plate thereabove. In one embodiment of the invention, the mounting piece has a pair of diametrically opposed circumferential slots for receiving therein the prongs of the light bulb, the slots lying adjacent to a pair of metal terminals cast into the plastic of the mounting piece. A spring holding element holds the prongs in the slots. In the second embodiment, the mounting piece is threaded to receive a threaded portion of the light bulb and has a lower annular groove and central aperture for receiving therein a ring-shaped metal contact and a split prong contact of the light bulb. A plurality of metal strips partially positioned in the annular groove serve to hold the ring-shaped metal contact in place.

The sides of the socket are cut or embossed to provide oppositely disposed J-slots having circumferentially extending portions for the seating of retaining pins on the light bulb. 摘要： The disclosure relates to a lamp socket having an improved core that facilitates assembly and improved contact of the light bulb with the terminals of the socket. The core is generally cylindrical in shape and has one or more passageways therein adapted to accept and retain complimentary spade terminals. A spring is positioned around the core in the socket housing to provide the necessary lost motion to maintain contact pressure. Locking tabs prevent separation of the core from the housing.
