摘要: A high-efficiency integrated circulator/isolator includes a hollow base having an opening formed in the top, a coupler, a first resistor, and an SMP signal connector, wherein three notches are formed in the peripheral wall of the base, support bases are respectively arranged at the bottoms of the notches, and a laminated assembly is arranged in the base and includes a central conductor; and the coupler, first resistor, and SMP signal connector are respectively arranged on the support bases, the coupler has an output terminal electrically connected to an input terminal of the central conductor as well as a coupling terminal electrically connected to an external monitoring system, and the central conductor has an output terminal electrically connected to an input terminal of the SMP connector as well as an isolation terminal electrically connected to the first resistor. The circulator/isolator is integrated to a greater degree and is smaller in size.

摘要: Disclosed herein are embodiments of low temperature co-fireable dielectric materials which can be used in conjunction with high dielectric materials to form composite structures, in particular for isolators and circulators for radiofrequency components. Embodiments of the low temperature co-fireable dielectric materials can be scheelite or garnet structures, for example barium tungstate. Adhesives and/or glue is not necessary for the formation of the isolators and circulators.

This composite structure can serve as a platform for other components, allowing for improved miniaturization of components. Embodiments of the disclosure can be particular advantageous in the high frequency ranges, such as above 1.8GHz or above 3GHz, which allows devices to be used in the 5G space.

摘要: A nonreciprocal device includes a waveguide through which waves at a first frequency propagate with a first wavevector and with a second wavevector in a direction opposite to the first wavevector; a frequency-dependent device that operates within a frequency range and modifies the waves through the waveguide in a way that is dependent on the first frequency; and a set of couplers to couple the waveguide and the frequency-dependent device. Coupling rates of the set of couplers are modulated to enable nonreciprocal coupling, with respect to the frequency-dependent device, of the first wavevector compared to the second wavevector.

摘要: A magnet-free non-reciprocal device realized using modulated filters. The device includes one or more filters in one or more branches, where each branch connects two ports or a port and a central node. The poles and zeros of each of the first, second and third filters are modulated in time such that degenerate modes at each pole and zero is split thereby destructively interfering at one or more output ports and adding up at another output port allowing non-reciprocal transmission, isolation and/or non-reciprocal phase shift. The device is able to realize a magnet-free full-duplex communication scheme implementing a magnet-free circulator for radio frequency cancellation or a magnet-free isolator or gyrator.

The field oxidation layer is disposed above the substrate. The active region is disposed above the substrate or in the substrate. The dielectric layer is disposed above the active region and the field oxidation layer. The passivation layer is disposed above the dielectric layer. The metal layer is disposed above the passivation layer. The metal layer and the active region serve as a first electrode and a second electrode of the capacitor, respectively, wherein the active region is disposed below the dielectric layer. Some embodiments provide a digital isolation apparatus comprising at least one high-voltage isolator, each of which includes the above high-voltage capacitor structure.
