Abstract: A liquid supply system includes a suction lance (6) configured to be inserted into a liquid container (14) and at least one level sensor (10, 12) fixed on the lance (6) and configured to detect a liquid level (22) inside a liquid container (14). A control device (4) is connected to the level sensor (10, 12) and configured to determine a rate of change of the liquid level (22) detected by the at least one level sensor (10, 12) and to detect a lance removal if the rate of change reaches or exceeds a predefined threshold. A method for detecting the removal of a suction lance (6) from a liquid container (14) is provided.

Abstract: A cleaning-in-place method includes terminating a cleaning-in-place cycle if a deviation of a currently detected value of a backwash hydraulic parameter (P) from a value of the same backwash hydraulic parameter (P) detected in a previous backwash cycle (32, 34, 36 38) in the same cleaning-in-place cycle exceeds a predefined deviation limit value. A filter device is provided having a control device for carrying out a respective cleaning-in-place method.

Abstract: A monitoring module (13) identifies an operating scenario in a wastewater pumping station, with at least one pump (9a, 9b) arranged for pumping wastewater out of a wastewater pit (1) into a pipe (11). The monitoring module (13) is configured to process at least one load-dependent pump variable indicative of how the at least one pump (9a, 9b) operates and at least one model-based pipe parameter indicative of how the wastewater flows through the pipe (11) and/or the at least one pump (9a, 9b). The monitoring module is configured to identify an operating scenario in the wastewater pumping station by selecting an operating scenario from a group of predefined operating scenarios dependent on at least one first criterion that is based on the at least one load-dependent pump variable and at least one second criterion that is based on the at least one model-based pipe parameter.

Abstract: A method carries out an outside temperature-dependent control of at least one thermal power indicative parameter of a supply temperature of a first heating or cooling system in a first building (H). The control is carried out on the basis of the at least one thermal power indicative parameter. The at least one thermal power indicative parameter is indicative of the heat consumption or of the cooling power of at least one second heating or cooling system of a second building (H′, H″, H′″), located at a distance from the first building, and is received via a data network (1), in particular, via the Internet. An arrangement is provided for controlling a first heating or cooling system of a first building, wherein the arrangement is adapted to carry out the method mentioned above. A server is further provided that is adapted to receive at least one thermal power indicative parameter.

Abstract: A pump seal leakage detection system (8) includes a leakage piping (13) including a collector pipe (21) and an air stream pipe (23), a sensor (15) positioned at the air stream pipe (23), and an air displacement device (17) for driving an air stream through the air stream pipe (23). The collector pipe (21) includes an inlet port (25) that is connectable to a leakage centrifuge (5), and an outlet port (27) into the air stream pipe (23). The sensor (15) is configured to detect a leakage drop at the outlet port (27) of the collector pipe (21) or in the air stream pipe (23). The air displacement device (17) is configured to blow a leakage drop off the outlet port (27) of the collector pipe (21) by an air stream towards an outlet port (35) of the air stream pipe (23).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a filtering device for a water treatment system comprising a biological treatment device adapted to provide a sludge from wastewater or filtrated wastewater, and/or the biological treatment device being fluidic connectable to or in fluidic connection with the filtering device for receiving filtrated wastewater from the filtering device and for delivering sludge to the filtering device. The filtering device is a cake filtration device comprising a fluid penetrable support structure and the support structure is provided as one or more tubular elements having a filtration cake provided on the inside of the fluid penetrable support structure. The filtering has device an inlet being connectable to receive liquid to be filtered so that the flux of liquid to be filtered is from the inside of the support structure, through the filtration cake and to the outside of the support structure thereby providing a filtrate, an outlet for outletting liquid from the interior of the tubular element, and a filtrate outlet for outletting filtrate from the filtering device. The filtration cake is being provided by deposition of solids from the sludge formed in the biological treatment device.
