摘要: A system to control operation of an HVAC unit for conditioning indoor air quality in a multi-zone area is disclosed, The system comprises a controller adapted to be operatively connected to an air handling unit (AHU) associated with the HVAC unit. The controller is configured to receive, from one or more sensors installed at a plurality of zones of an area of interest (AOI), a set of data packets pertaining to indoor air quality (IAQ) at each of the zones in real-time. Further, when the IAQ of any of the plurality of zones is detected to be above a first predefined level, the controller enables the AHU and the HVAC unit to circulate air from at least one of the remaining zones having the IAQ below the first predefined level to the zones having the IAQ above the first predefined level.

The server includes a relaying circuitry that receives an operational request from the portable terminal and relays the operational request received to the air conditioner and an exclusive time setting circuitry that sets a certain period between a point in time when the relaying circuitry receives the operational request and a point in time when the certain period that is predetermined expires as an exclusive time. The portable terminal includes a location information acquiring circuitry, an exclusive time acquiring circuitry that obtains the exclusive time when the location information obtained by the location information acquiring circuitry arrives in the control area from outside the control area, a transmitting circuitry that transmits the operational request from a user to the server after a lapse of the exclusive time.

摘要: Techniques for performing an emissions demand response (EDR) event are described. In an example, a cloud-based HVAC control system may obtain a first emissions rate forecast and generate an EDR event with a start time and end time based on the first emissions rate forecast. The EDR event may then be transmitted to a thermostat and stored in a memory of the thermostat. At the start time, the thermostat may commence controlling an HVAC system according to the EDR event. After the start time and prior to the end time, the cloud-based HVAC control system may obtain a second emissions rate forecast and generate a modified EDR event with a modified end time. The modified EDR event may be transmitted to the thermostat before the end time and/or the modified end time whereupon the thermostat may control the HVAC system accordingly until the modified end time is reached.

The apparatus is configured to be electrically connected with a float switch concurrently with dispensing the cleaning composition, and the apparatus is configured to cause at least a portion of an air conditioning system to shut down in response to receiving a signal generated by the float switch.
