Abstract: A method by which a station (STA) operates in a wake up receiver (WUR) mode in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: entering into the WUR mode by turning off a WLAN transceiver of the STA and turning on a WUR receiver of the STA; starting a timer by entering into the WUR mode; and turning on the WLAN transceiver of the STA when the timer is completed or a wake-up signal for waking up the STA is detected through the WUR receiver, wherein the timer can indicate the remaining time for which the STA can maintain the WUR mode until the STA receives a predetermined WUR signal for confirming the presence of an associated access point (AP).

Abstract: A method of transmitting a frame by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system supporting an HE PPDU (high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: setting a first duration field included in an HE-SIG A field; and transmitting a frame including the HE-SIG A field and a MAC header, wherein the first duration field is set to indicate a TXOP (transmission opportunity) value using a smaller number of bits than a second duration field included in the MAC header, and a granularity of a time unit used for indicating the TXOP value in the first duration field is set to be different from a granularity of a time unit used in the second duration field.

Abstract: A method for a frame transmitted on the basis of random access in a wireless LAN system according to the present embodiment comprises the steps of: receiving, by a user STA, a trigger frame from an AP, the trigger frame including identification information for random access and resource information indicating a random access resource unit corresponding to the identification information; performing a countdown operation for the random access resource unit by the user STA; and transmitting, by the user STA, a first uplink frame to the AP on the basis of the random access resource unit obtained through the countdown operation, the first uplink frame including buffer status information associated with traffic buffered in the user STA, wherein the first uplink frame is a frame requesting the AP for transmission of a response.

Abstract: Proposed is a method for determining transmission using a network allocation vector (NAV) in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, after a receiving device receives a trigger frame, which triggers an uplink multiple user transmission, from a transmitting device, whether to transmit an uplink physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) corresponding to the trigger frame is determined using the NAV of the receiving device. In this case, if the NAV is established by an intra-basic service set (BSS) frame, whether to transmit the uplink PPDU is determined without taking the NAV into consideration.

Abstract: A method for transmitting an uplink frame in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises the steps in which: a user STA configures a backoff counter for contention-based channel access according to first parameter information for multiple users when a first trigger frame for uplink transmission of the multiple users is received from an AP; the user STA performs a countdown operation on the basis of the backoff counter configured according to the first parameter information; the user STA interrupts the countdown operation in order to transmit a trigger-based uplink frame in response to a second trigger frame when the second trigger frame is received; and the user STA resumes the countdown operation, which has been interrupted, when an ACK frame corresponding to the trigger-based uplink frame is not received.

Abstract: A method for a WLAN system including transmitting, by a first station (STA), a trigger frame triggering uplink multi-user (UL MU) transmission from a second STA, in which the trigger frame includes preference information related to an access category (AC) type for an aggregation frame to be generated by the second STA and limit information related to a maximum number of traffic identifiers (TIDs) for the aggregation frame. In response to the trigger frame, the first STA may receive a UL frame configured based on the aggregation frame and a Quality of Service (QoS) null frame which has an acknowledgement (ACK) policy field being set to no ACK. When the QoS null frame is aggregated, the preference information and the limit information may be disregarded.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a frame by a STA in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: receiving a first frame from an AP; determining, on the basis of the first frame, a TXOP duration value to be included in a SIG field of a second frame that the STA is to transmit; and transmitting the second frame, in determining the TXOP duration value, the STA calculates a residual TXOP duration that may retain after the second frame is transmitted, on the basis of a TXOP duration indicated through the first frame, and when the residual TXOP duration is not a multiple of a granularity of a time unit used by the SIG field, the STA approximates the residual TXOP duration to be a first TXOP duration value which is a multiple of the granularity.

Abstract: A method for performing, by a station (STA) apparatus, uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes performing carrier sensing on a channel, receiving a trigger frame including information for UL MU transmission and a carrier sense indicator indicating whether a result of the carrier sensing is to be reflected from an access point (AP), and transmitting an UL MU frame through the channel based on the information for UL MU transmission. The UL MU frame is transmitted through the channel based on a result of the carrier sensing if the carrier sense indicator indicates the reflection of a result of the carrier sensing. The UL MU frame is transmitted through the channel regardless of a result of the carries sensing if the carrier sense indicator does not indicate the reflection of a result of the carrier sensing.
