    Abstract: Implementations are described herein for using machine learning to determine whether candidate crop fields are suitable for management by particular agricultural entities. In various implementations, a machine learning model may be applied to input data to generate output data. The input data may include a first plurality of data points corresponding to field-level agricultural management practices of an agricultural entity. The output data may be indicative of one or more predicted outcomes of the agricultural entity implementing the field-level agricultural management practices on one or more candidate crop fields not currently managed by the agricultural entity. Based on one or more of the predicted outcomes, one or more computing devices may be caused to provide a user associated with the agricultural entity with information about one or more of the candidate crop fields, and/or one or more parameter inputs of a graphical user interface may be prepopulated.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for an exosuit activity transition control structure. In some implementations, sensor data representing an estimate of sensor data that will be produced by sensors of an exosuit at a particular time in the future is generated, where the exosuit is configured to assist mobility of a wearer. Actual sensor data that is generated using the sensors of the exosuit is obtained. A measure of uncertainty is determined based on the forecasted sensor data and the actual sensor data. Based on the measure of uncertainty, a control action for the exosuit to adjust an assistance provided to the wearer is determined.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides for a communication system that includes one or more sensors and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to receive, during a first timeframe, a first indication of an error rate of a communication link, a second indication of an amount of received power at a remote communication system, and one or more measurements related to the state of the communication system. The one or more processors are then configured to estimate a plurality of disturbance values to the communication system according to the one or more measurements and the second indication. Each disturbance value is associated with a set of components of the communication system. The one or more processors are configured to adjust a beam divergence of a beacon beam or a communication beam transmitted from the communication system based on the plurality of disturbance values and the first indication.

    Abstract: Systems and processes described herein can expand a limited data set of EEG trials into a larger data set by resampling subsets of EEG trial data. Implementations may employ one or more of a variety of different resampling techniques. For example, a subset of the available training data is selected to form a new set of training data. The subset can be selected using replacement (e.g., a sample can be selected more than once, and thus represented multiple times in the new set of training data). Alternatively the subset can be selected without using replacement (e.g., each sample is able to be selected only once, and thus represented a maximum of one time in the new set of training data).

    Abstract: Techniques are described herein for using artificial intelligence to predict crop yields based on observational crop data. A method includes: obtaining a first digital image of at least one plant; segmenting the first digital image of the at least one plant to identify at least one seedpod in the first digital image; for each of the at least one seedpod in the first digital image: determining a color of the seedpod; determining a number of seeds in the seedpod; inferring, using one or more machine learning models, a moisture content of the seedpod based on the color of the seedpod; and estimating, based on the moisture content of the seedpod and the number of seeds in the seedpod, a weight of the seedpod; and predicting a crop yield based on the moisture content and the weight of each of the at least one seedpod.
