Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a bifold door panel, and allowing the panel to run on a track. The apparatus has a trolley that runs within the track and a vertical elongate member that is axially movable relative to the trolley. A hinge or hinge portion is mounted on the elongate member, and a first support is disposed between the trolley and the hinge or hinge portion. The first support functions to support the hinge or hinge portion against a compression force arising from the bifold door panel when the apparatus is mounted on a top region of the panel. A second support is disposed at or toward the terminus of the elongate member and distal to the trolley. The second support functions to support the hinge or hinge portion against a compression force arising from the bifold door panel mounted thereon when mounted on a bottom region of the panel.

Abstract: A door operator including a drive motor having a motor housing and a drive shaft selectively rotatable via electric power, a drive tube for receiving therein the drive motor, wherein the motor housing is secured to the drive tube to prevent rotation therebetween. The door operator further including a first side plate and second side plate with the drive tube rotatably supported therebetween, at least one drive cog secured to the drive tube, wherein the drive cog is engageable with a door to provide translation of the door. The door operator further including a locking gear secured to the drive shaft, a locking plate slidingly coupled to the first side plate, including a gear engagement portion, and a locking lever secured to the locking plate and operational to selectively disengage the gear engagement portion of the locking plate, allowing the locking gear to be rotatable with the motor housing.

Abstract: A vehicular opening/closing body control device includes a braking controller configured to apply a braking force to an opening/closing body, a full-closing detection unit configured to detect that the opening/closing body is in a fully-closed state, and a failure detection unit configured to detect failure of a latch mechanism provided on the opening/closing body. The latch mechanism is provided with a pawl switch, which is switched between ON and OFF states in conjunction with operation of a pawl. The failure detection unit detects, based on the ON and OFF states of the pawl switch, occurrence of an engagement failure in which the latch mechanism fails to hold the opening/closing body in the fully-closed state. The braking controller executes braking control for applying the braking force to the opening/closing body when the engagement failure is detected in the latch.

Abstract: A roller for a roller door has a roller bearing surrounded by a roller on the outer circumference and into which a bearing pin is inserted on the inner circumference, which protrudes in the axial direction from the roller bearing. The bearing pin has an inner part of a harder material and a bearing sleeve made of a softer material, wherein the inner part is pressed or screwed into the bearing sleeve. A method for mounting a roller includes injection molding a bearing sleeve made of plastic, inserting and/or screwing an inner part into an inner ring of a roller bearing and the bearing sleeve, and fixing the inner part to the bearing sleeve in a force-locked manner, and applying a roller to an outer ring of the roller bearing.
