Abstract:
A video cassette recorder includes an arm for connecting an intermediate gear driven by a capstan motor and an idler gear, a reel sensor for recognizing whether a supply reel table rotates or not, and a lever for selectively limiting the shifting movement of the idler gear to the supply reel table. The lever is provided on a deck so as to selectively come into contact with the arm oscillating toward the supply reel table in response to the movement of a sliding plate, or the presence or absence of a record tab on a loaded video cassette tape when the video cassette recorder is in a record mode and to keep a non-contacting status with respect to the arm when the video cassette recorder is in another operating mode.
Abstract:
In a computer system, the supply of a source voltage to a main computer block is started by using a reset switch provided for resetting the main computer block and cut off by specific key input signals from a keyboard or by programming in the computer. The main computer block includes a switching mode power supply SMPS for providing an operating power and a stand-by voltage to the main computer block, a power-on signal generator for generating a power-on signal to the SMPS by the reset switch, and a power-off signal generator for generating a signal for inverting the power-on signal generated from the power-on signal generator to a power-off signal.
Abstract:
A pinch roller assembly used in a video cassette recorder, employs a plastic journal bearing or a metallic sliding bearing in order to pivotally carry a sleeve about a supporting shaft, the bearings retained around a lower portion of a small diameter section and on an upper end of a large diameter section of the supporting shaft and a cushion member secured around an external surface of the bearings so as to enable an external rubber contact to tilt with respect to the supporting shaft.
Abstract:
A video cassette recorder ("VCR") provides a tape loading device which has a simplified structure and replaces a metal pin with a resin pin molded by an outsert molding method. The tape loading device is characterized in that an intermediate gear drives a pair of loading gears and a number of resin pins supports the intermediate gear and the loading gears.
Abstract:
A video cassette recorder is provided with a device for finely adjusting the tension of a loaded magnetic tape, which comprises a tension arm rotatably pivoted at a deck of the recorder and having a tension pole secured thereto for exerting a pressing force on the tape, a coil spring fixed to the tension arm for biasing the tension arm to urge the tension pole against the tape, a slider movably engaged with an elongated slot of the deck and associated with the coil spring, and an adjusting knob rotatably mounted to the deck for actuating the slider along the elongated slot in a lateral direction. The slider includes a rack formed at a side surface thereof. The adjusting knob includes a pinion provided on a shaft thereof and meshed with the rack of the slider. With a lateral movement of the slider caused by the rotation of the adjusting knob, the biasing force of the coil spring exerted against the tension arm is varied to adjust the pressing force of the tension pole applied to the tape.
Abstract:
A testing device includes a signal sensing unit and a signal processing unit. The signal sensing unit generates a test output signal by sensing a signal from a device under test including a plurality of passive elements that are connected in parallel. The signal processing unit detects an open-type fault of the plurality of passive elements by measuring an impedance of the device under test based on element characteristic information of the plurality of passive elements.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aptazyme comprising an aptamer for hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA-encoding component; a hammerhead ribozyme comprising an antisense sequence to microRNA at the site released by self-cleavage; and a communication module sequence that connects the aptamer and hammerhead ribozyme and triggers a self-cleavage activity of the hammerhead ribozyme upon binding of the aptamer with the HCV RNA-encoding component. The present aptazyme inhibits microRNA activity specifically in HCV proliferating cells and thus a composition of the present invention comprising the aptazyme can be effectively used for treatment of HCV-related diseases.
