Abstract: A method of controlling communication signal transmission in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication includes obtaining a prohibited V2X communication map, the prohibited V2X communication map including locations of multiple geo-fence boundaries for regions in which V2X communication signal transmission is prohibited, obtaining a current location of a vehicle, determining a distance of the vehicle from a nearest one of the multiple geo-fence boundaries, and inhibiting transmission of V2X communication signals from at least one antenna of the vehicle in response to a determination that the distance of the vehicle is less than a specified boundary distance threshold value.

The one or more processors are coupled to the transceiver, and are configured to at least facilitate performing service discovery learning among the plurality of control modules as to services to be offered or required by each of the control modules, storing information as to the services in a non-volatile memory, and after the indication of the trigger and before the services are actually required; and subsequently, when an event occurs in which the services are actually required, requesting and offering the services via the plurality of control modules based on the service discovery learning.

Abstract: A method for making a battery cell includes: disposing an electrode assembly within a battery can; assembling a top cap assembly to the battery can to form a battery cell having at least a first filling hole and a second filling hole; disposing a first portion of a liquid solution within the battery cell via the first filling hole, the liquid solution including an organic solvent, a cross-linkable polymer and a cross-linking agent; converting the first portion of the liquid solution into a first conductive layer disposed between the electrode assembly and the battery can; disposing a second portion of the liquid solution within the battery cell via the second filling hole; converting the second portion of the liquid solution into a second conductive layer disposed between the electrode assembly and the battery can; and filling the battery cell with a liquid electrolyte via an electrolyte filling hole.

Abstract: A battery cell gas analysis system including a degas chamber, a vacuum pump in fluid communication with the degas chamber to remove air from the degas chamber, a venting port configured to selectively vent the degas chamber, a battery cell enclosed in the degas chamber, and a gas detector in fluid communication with the degas chamber. The gas detector is configured to detect, with gas species separation, at least one parameter of a gas released from the battery cell into the degas chamber, and the at least one parameter of the gas of the battery cell is indicative of a manufacturing quality of the battery cell. The system includes at least one valve coupled between the degas chamber and the gas detector to selectively control a flow of the gas of the battery cell to the gas detector.

Abstract: An end-to-end perception perturbation modeling system for a vehicle includes one or more controllers storing a detection model in memory. The detection model includes a plurality of detection model plots that each indicate a probability value that an object in an environment surrounding the vehicle is detected based on a current weather condition and a distance measured between the vehicle and the object detected in the environment surrounding the vehicle. The one or more controllers execute instructions to receive an input state of the vehicle that is observed during non-inclement weather conditions and indicates one or more vehicle states, the current weather condition, and the distance. The controllers determine a perturbed state of the vehicle observed during the current weather condition.

The system also includes a controller configured to selectively connect the supplemental battery assembly to perform at least one of providing electrical charge to the propulsion battery assembly, and supplying electrical power to the electric motor.
