    Abstract: A fingerprint sensing method and a fingerprint sensing device are provided. The fingerprint sensing method includes the following steps. A first supply voltage is provided to power a fingerprint sensing circuit of the fingerprint sensing circuit. When the fingerprint sensing circuit is powered by the first supply voltage, it is detected whether a finger touch occurs. In response to determining that the finger touch has occurred, a second supply voltage is provided to power the fingerprint sensing device. A fingerprint image sensing is performed to obtain a fingerprint image when the fingerprint sensing circuit is powered by the second supply voltage.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of sub-pixel groups, wherein each of the plurality sub-pixel groups comprises eight sub-pixels disposed in a row direction or in a column direction and the eight sub-pixels comprise two red sub-pixels; two blue sub-pixels; two green sub-pixels; and two sub-pixels of a predetermined color, wherein in each of the plurality of sub-pixel groups, a distance between the red sub-pixels or between the blue sub-pixels is less than a distance between the green sub-pixels or between the sub-pixels of the predetermined color, and the sub-pixels of the predetermined color have a luminance higher than a luminance of the red sub-pixels and the blue sub-pixels.

The power management circuit is configured to output a first power signal and a second power signal to a pixel circuit of a display panel. The pixel circuit includes an organic light-emitting diode. The organic light-emitting diode includes an anode terminal and a cathode terminal. The anode terminal is coupled to the first power signal. The cathode terminal is coupled to the second power signal. The second power signal is an alternating-current voltage.     Abstract: A video encoding apparatus and an operating method thereof are provided. The video encoding apparatus includes an encoding circuit, a reconstructed frame generating circuit, a deblocking filter and a determination circuit. The encoding circuit generates encoded data according to a residual frame and generates a reconstructed residual frame. The reconstructed frame generating circuit generates a first reconstructed frame according to the reconstructed residual frame and a predicted frame. The deblocking filter generates a second reconstructed frame by eliminating discontinuities in reconstructed blocks of the first reconstructed frame. The current reconstructed block is not output to the memory when a current reconstructed block is identical to a co-located reference block of a reference frame stored in the memory. The current reconstructed block is output to the memory when the current reconstructed block is different from the co-located reference block in the reference frame.

    Abstract: A temperature sensor includes a plurality of temperature coefficient voltage generators, one or more converters and at least one variable voltage or current source. The temperature coefficient voltage generators are used for generating multiple temperature coefficient voltages. The converters, coupled to the temperature coefficient voltage generators, are used for converting the temperature coefficient voltages to digital values. The at least one variable voltage or current source, each coupled to at least one of the temperature coefficient voltage generators, includes a first variable voltage or current source for outputting a first voltage or current in a first time period, and outputting a second voltage or current in a second time period, wherein the second voltage or current is different from the first voltage or current such that there exists a shift between a first voltage-temperature curve in the first time period and a second voltage-temperature curve in the second time period.
