Abstract: A touch display panel including a substrate, a first touch sensor layer and a display electrode layer is provided. The first touch sensor layer is disposed on the substrate and patternized into a plurality of blocks for serving as a plurality of first touch sensor electrodes. The first touch sensor electrodes are grouped into a plurality of touch sensor units. Each touch sensor unit includes one or more first touch sensor electrodes. At least one first touch sensor electrode of each touch sensor unit serves as a transmitting electrode during a touch sensing period. The display electrode layer is disposed between the substrate and the first touch sensor layer and patternized into a plurality of blocks for serving as a plurality of display electrodes. The display electrodes are grouped into a plurality of display units. Each display unit includes one or more display electrodes. Each display unit is respectively corresponding to a touch sensor unit of the plurality of touch sensor units.

Abstract: An in-cell optical sensing display panel includes a pixel array, a plurality of first optical sensors and a plurality of second optical sensors. The pixel array is disposed in an active area of the in-cell optical sensing display panel, and the active area includes a first region and a second region which surrounds the first region. The sensor array is disposed in the first region of the active area and is configured to sense a fingerprint of a finger touching a surface of the in-cell optical sensing display panel. The second optical sensors are disposed in the second region of the active area and are configured to sense ambient light, and the second optical sensors are not to be used for fingerprint sensing.

Abstract: A touch integrated display device includes a substrate, at one metal layer, a touch sensor and trace layer, and a shielding layer. The substrate includes an active area and a fan out area neighbouring to the active area. The metal layer is disposed over the substrate in the active area, extended to the fan out area and includes a plurality of source lines and a plurality of gate lines. The touch sensor and trace layer is disposed over the metal layer in the active area and extended to the fan out area. The shielding layer is at least disposed at an overlap region of the fan out area where the metal layer and the touch sensor and trace layer are overlapped from a top view to shield electromagnetic interference between the metal layer and the touch sensor and trace layer.

A plurality of thin-film transistors (TFTs) of a plurality of pixels are deployed on the first substrate, wherein the plurality of pixels have a plurality of source lines and a plurality of gate lines. A common electrode is deployed on a second substrate. The display material layer is deployed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The cover layer is capable of being contacted by a touch object. The first substrate is located between the cover layer and the second substrate. At least one line of the plurality of source lines and the plurality of gate lines forms at least one touch sensing electrode.

Abstract: An electronic device controlling a touch panel and performing a proximity sensing method is provided. The electronic device includes a touch controller. The touch controller is configured to group a plurality of touch sensors into a sensing group of one or more touch sensors and a non-sensing group of one or more touch sensors, control the sensing group to perform a proximity or hover sensing operation during a first sensing period and not control the non-sensing group to perform the proximity or hover sensing operation during the first sensing period, set one or more first touch sensors of the non-sensing group to a floating state during the first sensing period, and set one or more second touch sensors of the non-sensing group to a simultaneously-driven state during the first sensing period.
