    摘要: An image processing circuit is configured to generate a first offset value according to second offset values in at least one look-up table corresponding to a starting voltage range of at least one illumination element in a display device. The image processing circuit is further configured to generate output image data according to an ending gray level value and the first offset value. The output image data is for overdriving the at least one illumination element. The second offset values correspond to a starting gray level value of a first frame and the ending gray level value of a second frame.

The sub-pixel repeat array is repeatedly arranged to form a pixel array on the display panel. The pixel array includes at least one map display unit. The display driver is coupled to the display panel. The display driver drives the display panel to display an image by using a sub-pixel rendering method. The image includes at least one specified intensity map. The map display unit includes a center sub-pixel unit and a plurality of neighboring sub-pixel units. The specified intensity map includes one or more white pixel points. In the map display unit, luminance summations of sub-pixels of different colors are equal. Furthermore, a display driving method is also provided.

    摘要: A color temperature compensation apparatus includes a compensation table and a controller. The compensation table records a relationship between a plurality of compensation values and each of a plurality of gray-levels, wherein the relationship is established based on a plurality of color temperature compensation curves. The controller is coupled to the compensation table, and generates a plurality of compensation values by referring to the compensation table according to a gray-level of each of a plurality of image data and a reference color temperature. The controller further calculates each of a plurality of compensated image data according to the compensation values, wherein the color temperature compensation curves respectively correspond to a plurality of color temperatures.

    摘要: The invention provides a color calibration device, a color calibration method and a calibration table generation method. The color calibration device includes a calibration table circuit, a ratio circuit and an image processing circuit. The calibration table circuit provides a selected calibration table including a plurality of zone calibration parameters. Each of the zone calibration parameters corresponds to a corresponding zone among a plurality of zones of a display panel. The ratio circuit calculates a subpixel calibration parameter corresponding to a current subpixel according to at least one of the zone calibration parameters in the selected calibration table. The image processing circuit calibrates original subpixel data of the current subpixel according to the subpixel calibration parameter to generate calibrated subpixel data of the current subpixel.

    摘要: A display apparatus and a method for driving a display panel thereof are provided. Each column of data line in the display panel has two sub-data lines. The driving method is described as follows. An input image signal is divided into a plurality of image segments, and each of the image segments has display data of pixels coupled to two adjacent scan lines. Every K image segments are defined as a group. An image signal is formed by inserting a reset data in each group of image segments. Display data of a first group are written in K batches according to a first start wave. After a predetermined time from the first start wave, the scan lines corresponding to the first group are driven at the same time according to a second start wave, and the reset data is output to the first sub-data lines and the second sub-data lines.
