Abstract: A method of video processing is provided to include: maintaining, prior to a conversion between a current video block of a video region and a coded representation of the video, at least one history-based motion vector prediction (HMVP) table, wherein the HMVP table includes one or more entries corresponding to motion information of one or more previously processed blocks; and performing the conversion using the at least one HMVP table; and wherein the motion information of each entry is configured to include interpolation filter information for the one or more previously processed blocks, wherein the interpolation filter information indicates interpolation filters used for interpolating prediction blocks of the one or more previously processed blocks.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for digital video coding, which includes matrix-based intra prediction methods for video coding, are described. In a representative aspect, a method for video processing includes performing a conversion between a current video block of a video and a bitstream representation of the current video block using a matrix based intra prediction (MIP) mode in which a prediction block of the current video block is determined by performing, on previously coded samples of the video, a boundary downsampling operation, followed by a matrix vector multiplication operation, and selectively followed by an upsampling operation, where the performing the conversion includes deriving, according to a rule, boundary samples by applying a left bit shift operation or a right bit shift operation on a sum of at least one reference boundary sample, and where the rule determines whether to apply the left bit shift or the right bit shift operation.

A first syntax element in a first video unit level specifying a deblocking parameter offset for β divided by 2 applied to a chroma component for one or more slices in a first video unit and a second syntax element in the first video unit level specifying a deblocking parameter offset for tC divided by 2 applied to the chroma component for the one or more slices in the first video unit are determined according to a rule in response to the first syntax element and the second syntax element not included in the bitstream.
