Abstract:
The invention provides a duct with high sound absorbing effect and sufficient exhausting efficiency, as well as an electronic apparatus having the duct. The duct can include a hollow duct body, an inflated section arranged at an intermediate part of a passage of the duct body, and a sponge bonded on internal surfaces of the duct body and the inflated section. The duct body and the inflated section can have a thickness of 0.25 mm and be formed of a sheet member of paper impregnated with polymethylpentene on the surface thereof. The duct body can also include an intake-port side duct body and an exhaust-port side duct body, which are connected together at an angle of 90° therebetween. Further, a fan can be connected to an intake port of the intake-port side duct body 201. The inflated section can be arranged in the side of the intake port, and the cross-sectional area of the inflated section can be 1.8 times that of the duct body.
Abstract:
A coin dispensing device provides a housing frame that can be mounted within a predetermined space within a machine that requires dispensing coins in more than one denomination. A plurality of coin hoppers for respectively different denominations of coins can be stacked in vertical alignment within the housing frame for dispensing the coins. A cover member can provide a common passageway connected to the coin hoppers. The coin hoppers can be slid out of the housing frame for servicing and slid back into the housing frame for engagement with a transmission assembly to permit selective driving of a coin hopper dispensing unit from a power source such as a single motor.
Abstract:
A miniaturized coin hopper device is provided so as to have a lower height. The device has an electric motor which is arranged such that the projection end of a rotated axis thereof is located at a lower side. A first gear is fixed on this projection end of rotated axis. A disk for discharging coins one by one is provided at the bottom of a hopper which stores the coins. A second gear rotates this disk. A gear train connects this second gear and the first gear. The problem of a true coin being disbursed when a pseudo-coin was in a hopper device and the return button was pushed is also addressed. A distinguishing element checks the money kind of a deposited coin. A reserve temporarily holds the coin distinguished by this distinction element. A storage for coins of same money kind and a disbursing element is provided for the the coin in this storage to return the coin reserved in the temporary reservation. A device is also provided to distribute the coin reserved in said temporary reservation to the storage.
Abstract:
A process for producing an ether amine (3), which comprises reacting a primary or secondary alcohol (1), ROH, with acrylonitrile in an amount of 0.8 to 1.2 equivalents of the alcohol (1) in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide in an amount of not less than 0.01 part by weight, but less than 0.05 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of the alcohol (1) to obtain an alkyloxypropionitrile (2), and then adding water to the reaction system without removing the alkali metal hydroxide therefrom and effecting hydrogenation using a hydrogenation catalyst: ROH(1)+CH2=CHCN→ROCH2CH2CN(2)→ROCH2CH2CH2NH2(3) wherein R denotes a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 6 to 24 carbon atoms. Also disclosed are a process for producing an ether tertiary amine (5), R—O—CH2—CH2—CH2—N(CH2R1)2, which comprises adding an aldehyde to the resulting ether amine (3) in the presence of a metal catalyst or a Raney nickel catalyst, and a process for producing an ether quaternary ammonium salt (6), R—O—CH2—CH2—CH2—N(CH2R1)2(R2), which comprises reacting a quaternizing agent with the ether tertiary amine (5).
Abstract:
A miniaturized locking mechanism for selectively placing a drive unit in a locked or unlocked state. A locking mechanism in which a drive unit 1 is movably supported on a chassis 3 through a resilient member to selectively place the drive unit 1 in a locked or unlocked state, wherein a roller bracket 9, an arm member 17 and a slide member 18 are mounted on the chassis 3. The slide member 18 moves in a longitudinal direction of the chassis 3 in association with the rotation of the arm member 17 and having an engaging groove 18d which can be engaged with and disengaged from a protrusion 1a of the drive unit 1. The roller bracket 9 rotates in a direction of moving a drive roller 10 away from a disc D when the disc D is mounted, and a first cam groove 17a and a second cam groove 18b, in which traces a drive pin 20 provided on the roller bracket 9, are put in the arm member 17 and the slide member 18, whereby when locked, the drive pin 20 is placed in engagement with the second cam groove 18b, while when unlocked, the drive pin 20 is placed in engagement with the first cam groove 17a.
Abstract:
A phenylalkane amide compound having the formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 -R.sup.4, X, n, Y, Z and Q are as defined herein. The compound is useful as an agricultural or horticultural fungicide.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a process for producing a tertiary aliphatic amine having high quality having little non-amines such as esters and alcohols, which is less colored, and which can be converted into a derivative without turbidity. That is, the present invention provides the process which comprises the steps of adding at least one alkali substance of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide or an aqueous solution thereof to the crude tertiary amine product mixture and distilling the mixture to obtain the tertiary amine having a high quality. In addition, the tertiary amine has the formula: R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--R.sub.3, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 being a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon having 6 to 28 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 being a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
Abstract:
A coin storage and dispensing apparatus for storing and dispensing coins from a gaming machine includes a frame member for mounting in the gaming machine and for positioning a respective first container device and a second container device at a diagonal angle to support a surface. The first and second container devices store loose bulk coins with a coin transporting device rotably mounted in the second container device to pick up coins and to drop them in the first container device. A pivotable support plate is directly mounted to the first container device to support its weight and a sensor can monitor the presence of coins in the first container device and activate the coin transporting device when a predetermined presence of coins is sensed.
Abstract:
