Abstract:
An image communication apparatus includes a detection device for detecting an identification number sent from a calling station terminal, and an output device for outputting information indicating a call received from the identification number when a called station does not respond to the telephone call.
Abstract:
A record head is energized in accordance with received image data to transfer an ink of an ink sheet to a record medium and perform image recording on the record medium while the ink sheet and the record medium are fed in opposite directions. The rotation period of a roller driven during feeding of the record medium or the feed direction of the record medium is detected to detect adhesion between the ink sheet and the record medium. When adhesion between the ink sheet and the record medium is detected, a recording operation is interrupted to feed the ink sheet and the record medium to release adhesion between the ink sheet and the record medium. When the adhesion is released within a predetermined time period, the recording operation is continued. When the adhesion is not released within the predetermined time period, an alarm sound is issued.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a communication apparatus to which connected are plural telephone units and data communication units, such as facsimile units, wherein the data communication units can be controlled by instructions from the telephone units.
Abstract:
An image communication apparatus comprises a cutter for cutting a record sheet, a detector for detecting a length of a received image, a setter for setting a length for a predetermined size and a controller for comparing the length for the predetermined size and the length of the received image and controlling the cutter such that the record sheet is cut to the predetermined size when the length of the received image is substantially equal to the length of the predetermined size and cutting the record sheet to a non-predetermined size when both lengths are different.
Abstract:
An image transmission apparatus for transmitting image data of document sheets stored in an image memory includes a manual entry device entering the number of document sheets. A counter counts the number of pages of document image stored in the image memory. The numbers are compared and an alarm is generated when the numbers are not equal.
Abstract:
A method for shaping a tetrafluoroethylene resin pipe which comprises:(a) winding a porous sheet of tetrafluoroethylene resin which is not sintered around a mandrel,(b) covering the wound sheet with an elastomeric material,(c) isotactically pressing the wound sheet covered with the elastomeric material,(d) removing the elastomeric material from the wound sheet, and(e) sintering the wound sheet. According to the present invention, a dense tetrafluoroethylene resin pipe having excellent appearance and surface smoothness can be easily obtained, while maintaining the advantages inherent in the conventional winding methods.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus for performing line-recording using a recording head in which heat generating elements are linearly arranged, and for determining an energy amount to be applied to each heat generating element according to a heat hysteresis of the corresponding heat generating element, includes a memory for storing image data for a plurality of lines, and a control circuit for sequentially designating image data to be recorded, and calculating an energy amount to be applied to the heat generating element at a record position of designated image data according to image data of a line next to the designated data.
Abstract:
A data communication apparatus comprises means for registering a destination station identification code number, means for storing information, and control means for setting a communication mode by the destination station identification code registration means and the information storing means.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus with an auto-communication mechanism for automatically communicating data, a speech communication mechanism for allowing an operator to communicate speech, a selection mechanism for selecting the auto-communication mechanism or the speech communication mechanism to set the communication apparatus in an auto-communication mode or a speech communication mode, a speech presence identification mechanism for detecting a speech sent from a destination station, and speech output mechanism for outputting speech in accordance with an output of the speech detection mechanism when the communication apparatus is in the auto-communication mode.
Abstract:
A picture image communication apparatus has an original detection device for detecting a setting of an orignial; a manual switch for commanding the start of reading out a picture image of the original; a feed mechanism for feeding the original to a reading out position; and a control unit for driving the feed mechanism based upon a detection output from the original detection device without waiting for a turning on of the manual switch. The apparatus may be applied both in manual and automatic communications. In the former case, the presence or absence of an off-hook state of a telephone and the presence or absence of an original may be employed for the control conditions of the control unit to perform various operational modes.
