Abstract:
A furniture hinge with a door-leaf attachment part (1) for fastening to a door leaf (36) and a carcass attachment part (2) connected to the hinge so that it can pivot for fastening to a furniture carcass (37). At least one functional unit (3) influences a pivoting movement between the door-leaf attachment part (1) and the carcass attachment part (2). The carcass attachment part (2) has a first component (4) and at least one second component (5), and the first component (4) is supported on the second component (5) at least by at least one adjustment device (6), and a relative position of the first component (4) to the second component (5) can be adjusted with the adjustment device (6). The functional unit (3) has a first functional element (8) and at least one second functional element (9), the first functional element (8) is supported so that it can move relative to the second functional element (9), and the first functional element (8) is fastened to or supported on the adjustment device (6).
Abstract:
A household appliance that includes a housing having an opening; a door rotatable about a first rotation axis to selectively open or close the opening; and a braking system to damp a rotational movement of the door when the door is opened or closed. The braking system includes a damper and a transmission unit that is coupled between the door and the damper to be driven by the door and for transmitting a movement of the door to the damper.
Abstract:
A damping arrangement, in particular for displaceable furniture parts, includes a damper (1) which is provided with a tappet (2) which can be impinged upon, and which can be supported by a support element (3). The support element (3) can be positioned and/or displaced in relation to the tappet (2).
Abstract:
A viscous rotary damping device for a vehicle end gate assembly is provided. The damping device includes a housing member configured to operatively attach to the vehicle body or the end gate assembly. The housing member defines a fluid chamber having viscous fluid therein. The damping device also includes an impeller member having a mast with a first end configured to operatively attach to the other of the vehicle body and the end gate assembly, and a second end having one or more blades projecting outward therefrom. The second end of the mast is rotatably received in the fluid chamber such that the impeller member dissipates kinetic energy generated by the end gate assembly when transitioning between a first, closed position and a second, open position. A cover plate member is preferably coupled to the housing member, and configured to fluidly seal the fluid chamber.
Abstract:
A door hinge for a household appliance, the household appliance including a body and a door, the door being movable about a horizontal axis between an approximately vertical closed position and an approximately horizontal opened position. The door hinge includes a housing couplable to the body, a door lever pivotably mountable on the door for movement about a main shaft, a weight compensating spring and a closing spring. The weight compensating spring holds the door approximately in a position of equilibrium when the door is opened and the closing spring applies a self-closing force shortly before the door reaches the closed position and applies a closure maintaining force when the door reaches the closed position. Further included is a dampening device that either counteracts a closing force or an opening force.
Abstract:
An example furniture hinge includes a saddle supporting the damping cylinder that engages a first mounting edge of the supporting arm from behind. A locking element supported movably on the saddle has a laterally protruding mounting lug, which in a locking position engages a second mounting edge of the supporting arm from behind. The second mounting edge is oriented counter to the first mounting edge.
Abstract:
A damper arrangement is provided for parts of furniture that can be pivoted in relation to each other. The arrangement includes at least one damper having a linear damping course, and at least two abutment parts which can be respectively fixed to one of the parts of the furniture, or can be supported thereon in an especially sliding manner. The abutment parts are interconnected in such a way that they can be pivoted by at least one articulated axis. The damper is arranged in such a way that the direction of the linear damping course thereof is at an angle to a parallel line, deviating (offset) from a vertical line, preferably essentially parallel to the articulated axis.
Abstract:
A furniture hinge with equipment comprising a toggle-type hinge and a line shock absorber arranged transversely to a major axis of the toggle-type hinge, which line shock absorber is inserted into a holder and the latter is attached to the toggle-type hinge, whereat the holder (100, 200) consists of a bearing part (1) and a position part (2), which are fixed to each other by at least one coupling element in the form of an unreleasable connection or a releasable one.
Abstract:
A hinge for connection of two furniture parts comprises a bowl-shaped element designed to be fastened to a first furniture part and a wing rotatably in engagement with said bowl-shaped element, the wing being adapted to be fastened to an intermediate element that, in turn, is fastened to a hinge base designed to be secured to a second furniture part, a shock absorber being present which comprises a body designed to be rigidly connected to said second furniture part and a shock absorbing member movably mounted on said body to restrain the closing movement of the hinge. The shock absorber body is mounted on the intermediate element of the hinge.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer with a door or flap for closing the appliance interior, with a hinge, by means of which the door or flap can be swivelled relative to the body of the appliance, wherein the hinge includes means for producing a closing force acting in closing direction of the door or flap, and with a damper which at least over a part of the closing movement of the door or flap applies a force directed against the closing movement of the door or flap, wherein the means for producing a closing force include an eccentric and means which exert a force that acts on the eccentric and is dependent on the opening angle of the door or flap.
