Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for wireless communication. In one aspect, a multi-transmit-receive point (TRP) approach for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARD) acknowledgment (ACK) feedback using counter downlink assignment indicators (DAIs) (cDAIs) and total DAIs (tDAIs) is provided. For example, some techniques and apparatuses described herein may provide a joint counting method in which cDAIs and tDAIs are implemented and tracked jointly between the TRPs of a multi-TRP group. This may be useful in the ideal backhaul scenario when the multi-TRP group is jointly scheduled, and may be more robust against errors than a separate counting method. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein may provide a separate counting method, in which cDAIs and tDAIs are implemented and tracked separately by the respective TRPs of a multi-TRP group.

The UE may assign an HARQ process identifier, included in the first HARQ process identifier set, to a process instance associated with the first configured scheduling process and may assign an HARQ process identifier, included in the second HARQ process identifier set, to a process instance associated with the second configured scheduling process. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for rate-matching for a transmission by multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, such as a multiple transmission reception point (multi-TRP) transmission. A method by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving one downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a downlink transmission associated with multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE determines whether the downlink transmission is associated with one rate matching or is associated with a separate rate matching for each of the multiple TCI states. The UE derate matches the downlink transmission based on the determination.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to receiving, from a base station, a configuration for sending downlink control information (DCI) feedback for a downlink control channel monitoring occasion, where the configuration indicates one or more of an uplink control channel resource and an uplink shared channel resource over which to send the DCI feedback. DCI can be received from the base station over the downlink control channel during the downlink control channel monitoring occasion. DCI feedback can be transmitted, based on receiving the DCI, to the base station over the one or more of the uplink control channel resource and the uplink shared channel resource indicated in the configuration.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to techniques to increase reliability of communications within a network during a low reliability period. The network may include a user equipment (UE) communicatively coupled with one or more transmit/receive points (TRPs), with the communications between the UE and the one more TRPs requiring a reliability above a first reliability threshold. A processor of a network entity may identify a low reliability period which occurs when the reliability of the communications is determined to be below a second reliability threshold. The processor may cause the network to perform one or more remedial actions to increase the reliability during the low reliability period.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to transmit first uplink control information (UCI) on a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource within a slot. The UE may also receive an indication to transmit second UCI on a second PUCCH resource within the slot. One or both of the first PUCCH resource or the second PUCCH resource may overlap with other PUCCH resources within the slot. The UE may multiplex the other PUCCH resources with the first PUCCH resource or the second PUCCH resource in accordance with UCI multiplexing rules. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive encoded data from a network entity. The UE may decode the data in accordance with a size of the circular buffer. The UE, the network entity, or both may determine the size of the circular buffer based on a capability of the UE. In some examples, the size of the circular buffer may be associated with one or more limits for performing the decoding operation, including a limit for a quantity of encoded bits the UE can process during a sliding window. For example, the limits may consider any combination of a quantity of encoded bits or information bits that the UE may write to or write from a memory of the UE. In some cases, the limits may consider multiple bandwidth parts, multiple component carriers, or any combination thereof.
