    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for managing unwanted transmissions by a wireless communications device, such as spurious transient transmissions caused by changing a power level of a transmitter. An exemplary method includes determining, based on one or more parameters, an action to reduce an impact of a spurious transmission by the UE, wherein the spurious transmission relates to at least one of changing a transmit power level at the UE or switching one or more radio components at the UE, and taking the determined action to reduce the impact.

    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided that enable use of a full transmission power for a UE having a first set of coherent antenna ports that is non-coherent to a second set of coherent antenna ports. The apparatus determines a transmission power for a data transmission from the UE to a base station based at least in part on power control signaling from the base station, determines at least one antenna port having non-zero data for transmission, and determines a transmission power split for the at least one antenna port. Then, the apparatus transmits the data transmission from the at least one antenna port, wherein a combined transmission power from the at least one antenna port corresponds to the transmission power determined based at least in part on the power control signaled from the base station.

    Abstract: Adjacent channel leakage-power ratio (ACLR) can be reduced at a transmitter of a device. A modulated signal can be mapped into a plurality of tone sets in a frequency domain, wherein the plurality of tone sets include a first, a second, and a third set of tones. The first and the third set of tones can be converted in the frequency domain to a fourth and a fifth set of tones, respectively, in a time domain. A zero padding of one or more symbols associated with the fourth and the fifth set of tones can be performed to output a sixth and a seventh set of tones, respectively. The sixth and the seventh set of tones can be converted to an eighth and a ninth set of tones, respectively, in the frequency domain. The eighth and the ninth set of tones can be processed for transmitting to another wireless device.
