Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to the use of enhanced downlink control information to communicate partial frequency sounding configuration to user equipment (UE). A UE may receive a partial frequency sounding configuration generated for the UE the downlink control information, transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) in one or more resources configured for SRS transmission in a bandwidth used by the UE, the one or more resources being identified by the partial frequency sounding configuration, and refrain from transmitting in a portion of a set of resources configured for SRS transmission in the bandwidth used by the UE. A format for the enhanced downlink control information may be based on standards defined the downlink control information formats.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which user equipment (UE) may provide a capability indication to one or multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) that indicates whether the UE is capable of performing Doppler pre-compensation. One or more of the TRPs may transmit configuration information to the UE to configure Doppler pre-compensation for subsequent communications. The UE may indicate that multiple Doppler shifts for a single communication with multiple TRPs is supported, or that a single Doppler shift or no Doppler shift is supported. The UE, when Doppler pre-compensation is supported and configured, may estimate one or more Doppler metrics (e.g., a Doppler shift, a maximum Doppler spread, or both) for one or multiple TRPs based on one or more reference signals from the TRPs, and may transmit one or more uplink communications based on the estimated Doppler metrics.

The method further includes inferring a handover decision based on the handover decision information and the anonymized sensor feature data, and transmitting the handover decision to the UE.

A user equipment (UE) may use cover coding for sounding reference signal (SRS) resources for performing antenna switching. The UE may receive a configuration for a reference signal resource set for transmitting a reference signal for antenna switching, the configuration including an indication of a type of time division cover coding for repetitions of the reference signal and an indication of a type of frequency hopping. The UE may determine a reference signal resource for transmission of the reference signal based on the configuration and the type of frequency hopping. The UE may then transmit a set of repetitions of the reference signal over the determined reference signal resource according to the type of time division cover coding.
