    Abstract: A combination weighing device includes: a conveyance unit; a plurality of first hoppers each receiving the article; a plurality of second hoppers detachably provided on a downstream side of the plurality of first hoppers, and each receiving the article; a weighing unit weighing the article held in each of the plurality of second hoppers; and a control unit performing combination calculation and discharging the article from the second hopper corresponding to the combination. The control unit performs combination calculation based on a weighing value corresponding to mass of the article held in each of the plurality of second hopper, and continues combination calculation based on a weighing value corresponding to mass of the article held in each of the second hoppers other than a part of the second hoppers in a state in which the part of the plurality of second hoppers has been removed.

    Abstract: A weighing device includes a conveyance unit which conveys an article, a hopper which receives the article conveyed by the conveyance unit, temporarily holds the article, and then discharges the article downstream, a detection unit which detects the article between a conveyance end of the conveyance unit and the hopper, and a control unit which controls driving of the conveyance unit. When the detection unit does not detect the article at a start of driving of the conveyance unit, the control unit drives the conveyance unit for a first period. When the detection unit detects the article at a start of driving of the conveyance unit, the control unit drives the conveyance unit for a second period longer than the first period.

    Abstract: An X-ray inspection apparatus with is configured to suppress the incidence of anomalies in inspection results caused by the X-ray inspection apparatus being used while an unsuitable setting is in effect. The X-ray inspection apparatus is provided with an inspection unit, a setting unit a storage unit, an assessment unit, and a notification unit. The inspection unit inspects an article using detection data obtained by detecting X-rays with which the article has been irradiated. The setting unit sets a setting value used in inspection of the article by the inspection unit. The storage unit stores a detection value based on the detection data. The assessment unit assesses on the basis of the detection value stored in the storage unit, whether or not the setting value set by the setting unit is suitable. When the assessment unit has assessed that the setting value is not suitable, the notification unit issues a notification to indicate that the setting value is not suitable.

    Abstract: An ultrasonic sealing unit is equipped with a converter, a horn, a fixing member, and a retaining member. The converter generates ultrasonic waves from an electrical signal. The horn vibrates because of the ultrasonic waves generated by the converter. The fixing member is a member for fixing the ultrasonic sealing unit. The retaining member is a member for retaining the ultrasonic sealing unit in a position different from the position where the ultrasonic sealing unit is fixed by the fixing member. The ultrasonic sealing unit may reduce vibration transmitted to the surroundings.

    Abstract: To provide a highly reliable combination weighing device having an object supply chute disposed above a dispersion section, which can prevent foreign matter from being mixed into objects due to the falling of screw members from a support frame supporting the object supply chute. A combination weighing device is provided with a dispersion section, weighing hoppers, a control unit, an object supply chute (150), and a support frame (100). The dispersion section disperses and supplies objects around the dispersion section. The weighing hoppers are arranged around the dispersion section. The control unit performs combination calculation based on weighing values in the weighing hoppers. The object supply chute is placed above the dispersion section and supplies the objects to the dispersion section. The support frame supports the object supply chute. The support frame includes members (111, 113, and 114) as engaged members, hooks as engaging members that engage with the engaged members, and fixing members (140) as non-screw members. The fixing members press the engaging members against the engaged members and fix the engaging members to the engaged members.

    Abstract: A bag making and packaging machine is configured with a member that is easily detachable therefrom. The bag making and packaging machine includes a forming mechanism, a transverse sealing mechanism, a shaker unit, and an installation unit. The forming mechanism forms a film into a tubular shape as the film moves in a downward direction. The transverse sealing mechanism is installed below the forming mechanism, seals the film formed in a tubular shape in a direction transverse to the downward direction. The shaker unit acts on the film to improve a state of the film. The shaker unit is detachable. The installation unit is a member for installing the shaker unit below the forming mechanism and above the transverse sealing mechanism. The installation unit places the shaker unit thereon, supports the shaker unit, and has a slide surface for sliding the shaker unit in a horizontal direction.

    Abstract: A bag-making and packaging apparatus creates one product per cycle by packaging articles in a bag made from a film. The bag-making and packaging apparatus includes a longitudinal sealing mechanism, a guide, an article sensor, a transverse sealing mechanism, a cutting mechanism, and a prediction unit. The guide guides the articles which fall from above into a film tube. The transverse sealing mechanism forms a transversely sealed part in the film tube with each cycle. The cutting mechanism cuts the film tube in the transversely sealed part with each cycle. The prediction unit predicts whether or not jamming of the articles could occur in the transverse sealing mechanism on the basis of an output of the article sensor with each cycle. When the prediction unit has predicted that the jamming could occur in a certain cycle, the cutting mechanism does not cut the film tube in the certain cycle.
