    摘要: When there is currently no article at an upstream end of a trough of a downstream linear feeder, an upstream linear feeder is driven to operate until any article detected by an upstream article detector. In case no article is still detectable by the upstream article sensor when a predetermined period of time is passed after the upstream linear feeder starts to be driven, the upstream linear feeder is driven to operate by an increased vibration strength based on the assumption that an article(s) is being jammed or articles are being stuck together on an upstream side of the upstream linear feeder.

    摘要: A method is provided for allocating a first item from a group of items to a receiver selected from a group of receivers. The method includes obtaining characteristic property information for the group of items and obtaining capacity information for the group of receivers. According to the method, a characteristic property of the first item which is to be allocated and a characteristic property of a selected second item within the group of items are used in consideration of possible options for allocating said first and second items to the group of receivers. Taking into account the respective capacities of receivers in the group of receivers, it is then determined which receiver should be selected for allocation of the first item thereto.

    摘要: Provided is a combinational weighing technique which can successfully improve a precision of a combinational weighing or a combinational counting of a weighed article. In a selecting step, since at least one large input weighing device is selected without any exception, therefore a target weight value is substantially reduced. This allows an equally dividing operation over the reduced target weight by two small input weighing devices to be performed. Consequently, the precision in the combinational weighing of corn flakes or the combinational counting of tablets can be improved.
