Abstract:
In a communication system, a plurality of radio access systems (RASs) respectively receives connection resources from an MBS server for transmitting a multicast broadcast data packet. The MBS server is involved in transmission of the multicast broadcast data packet. Then, the plurality of RASs receive the multicast broadcast data packet including parameters for synchronization between the plurality of RASs and parameters for size and location of the multicast broadcast data packet and deliver the received multicast broadcast data packet to a portable subscriber station (PSS). Thereby, the plurality of RASs can transmit the multicast broadcast data packets with the same location and the same size to the PSSs at the same time.

Abstract:
Provided is a method and apparatus for reducing zapping delay, which may transmit base layer data for each burst in a time-slicing scheme, and output the base layer data of a channel to be changed at the time of changing the channel, thereby reducing the zapping delay.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for management of the mobility of a terminal by using a non-access stratum (network stratum “NAS”) protocol in a mobile telecommunication network. The method for management of the mobility of a terminal by using an NAS protocol, i.e., messages includes a terminal (“UE”) and a mobile management entity (“MME”), and efficiently divides and processes security protected NAS messages and NAS messages with no security, and efficiently divides and processes EMM (EPS Mobility Management) messages, i.e., mobility management messages, and ESM (Evolved Session Management) messages, i.e., session management messages in a network such as an EPS (Evolved Packet System) of 3GPP, thereby managing the mobility and the sessions of a terminal in an efficient manner.
Abstract:
A door opening/closing device for an ice dispenser is disclosed. The door opening/closing device includes a DC motor 1 which is rotated in forward and reverse directions, a 2-staged spur gear 3 meshed with a worm gear 2 installed on a driving shaft, a 3-staged spur gear 4 meshed with the 2-staged spur gear 3, and a fan-shaped output gear 5 meshed with the 3-staged spur gear 4 and rotated in forward and reverse directions by interconnection of the motor 1 and the gears 2, 3 and 4. If the output gear 5 is rotated in the forward direction, a rod-shaped boss 5a pushes and rotates a link lever 6a to press a coil spring 8 wound around an opening/closing link 6 and thus open a door 7. If the output gear 5 is rotated in the reverse direction, the coil spring 8 is released from a pressurized state, and the rod-shaped boss 5a rotates in the reverse direction while abutting against the link lever 6a, so that the door 7 is closed without generating impact and sound.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a system and a method for polling in an Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON). The system includes: multiple Optical Network Units (ONUs) for sharing optical channels of the EPON with one another and transmitting traffic; and an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) for discriminating a plurality of ONUs gaining access to the EPON among the multiple ONUs and then collecting routing information on the plurality of ONUs gaining access to the EPON, and for classifying the plurality of ONUs gaining access to the EPON into two or more ONU groups according to the collected routing information and then carrying out forming a polling cycle and allocating bandwidth on each ONU group. Therefore, a transmission idle period in a traffic channel is not only minimized, but an availability ratio of traffic channels can also be maximized.
