    Abstract: Offline sharing of content is performed. An offline request to share content associated with a content sharing platform to a social networking service is received by a processing device of a user device. The offline request is received while the user device is not connected to a network. A share request is generated for the content in view of the social networking service. The share request for the content is generated while the user device is not connected to the network. Upon determining that a network connection is available, the share request for the content is provided to the social networking service.

Services or features from both can be leveraged to provide an ecosystem that can be superior or preferred by users or consumers. For example, premium content that typically must be purchased via a transaction with the content hosting service can be accessed by certain users that have not purchased the premium content provided those users have a social relationship with one that has purchased the premium content, which can be determined based on data managed by the social networking service.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic sequence-based adjustment of prompt generation are provided. The system can receive a first interaction and a second interaction via a client device and identify a first sequence based on the first interaction and the second interaction. The system can map the first sequence to a node data structure and identify a node in the node data structure that matches the first sequence. The system can generate an adjusted parameter for a first digital component object responsive to a match with an attribute of the node in the node data structure. The system can execute a real-time digital component selection process among a plurality of digital component objects including the first digital component object to select the first digital component object. The system can transmit a prompt with the first digital component object to a client device to cause the client device to present the prompt.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for recommending media content based on attribute grouped viewing sessions are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving an authorization to access a media content consumption history associated with an authenticated user account, wherein the media content consumption history includes a plurality of viewing sessions that each include media content items that have been consumed during that viewing session and wherein each of the plurality of viewing sessions is associated with session attribute information; determining whether the session attribute information associated with the plurality of viewing sessions meets session attribute criteria; generating a plurality of session group profiles by grouping a subset of viewing sessions from the plurality of viewing sessions based on the session attribute information meeting the session attribute criteria; determining that a user device using the authenticated user account is consuming a media content item in a current viewing session; determining whether the user device is likely to view additional media content items associated with at least one of the plurality of session group profiles by comparing session attributes of the current viewing session with each of the plurality of session group profiles; in response to determining that the current viewing session matches a session group profile from the plurality of session group profiles based on the comparison, combining the media content items associated with the session group profile with the media content item in the current viewing session; and causing a recommended media content item to be presented on the user device for the user of the authenticated user account, wherein the recommended media content item is selected from the combined media content items.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing third-party content can include a data processing system receiving criteria defining online activities of an online activity type related to a product or service context from a computing device of a third-party content provider. The data processing system can identify a cluster of client devices based on the defined online activities, and determine a subset of keywords associated with the defined online activities and the identified cluster of client devices. The data processing system can determine a performance metric of the subset of keywords based on the cluster of client devices, and provide the subset of keywords and the performance metric to the computing device. The data processing system can receive from the computing device a parameter value of a first keyword of the subset of keywords to use in selecting content items of the third-party content provider associated with the first keyword.

    Abstract: In a method and system for showing multiple skippable advertisements, in response to a request for a content item from a user, a set of advertisements for playback with the content item is identified, wherein each of the set of advertisements has a presentation period. A first advertisement of the set of advertisements is presented on a user device, and the user device is instructed to present a skip element concurrently with a presentation of the first advertisement, wherein the skip element, when activated, provides an option for the user to skip the first advertisement prior to an end of a corresponding presentation period. When receiving an indication of the user skipping the first advertisement, a second advertisement of the set of advertisements is presented on the user device, and the user device is instructed to present the skip feature concurrently with a presentation of the second advertisement.
