摘要: Techniques described herein relate to analyzing executions of content resources within networks of execution client devices, and selecting sets of interactive content resources for execution on particular execution devices based on such analyses. Content resource execution data may be received from various execution client devices on which content resources have been executed and provided to end users. Such data may be analyzed to determine correlations between a first content executor and additional content executors based on the their respective content resource execution data, and the content resource execution data of correlated content executors may be aggregated and analyzed to select particular interactive content resources for the first content executor. Such selections may be provided to first content executor during a content execution session following an authenticated login by the first content executor.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention include a method and a system for displaying a discussion thread related to a progress enabled media comprising providing, by one or more media content providers, a progress enabled media to a client via a communication network, collecting, by a commenting system provider, information related to the progress enabled media, determining, by the commenting system provider, a unique identifier of the progress enabled media and providing, by the commenting system provider, a discussion thread related to the progress enabled media according to the unique identifier. Further the method and a system includes displaying, by the commenting system provider, the discussion thread to a user, wherein a link between the discussion thread and the progress enabled media is independent from the one or more media content providers.

The first media program is scheduled to start at a first start time and end at a first end time, whereas a second media program is scheduled to start at a second start time and end at a second end time, the first end time being after the second start time. It is determined whether the first media program and the second media program are on a same channel. If so, one or more shared media segments, one of which is before all other shared media segments in the shared media segments and begins no later than the first time, are recorded. A first media program object is generated to represent a first recording of the first media program, and includes references to the first media segments and the shared media segments.

摘要: Disclosed aspects relate to checkpointing a set of stream computing data with respect to a stream computing environment having a set of windowed stream operators including both a first windowed stream operator and a second windowed stream operator. It may be identified that the first windowed stream operator has a first subset of the set of stream computing data. It may be identified that the second windowed stream operator has the first subset of the set of stream computing data. It may be determined to checkpoint the first subset of the set of stream computing data without a redundant checkpoint related to the first and second windowed stream operators. The set of stream computing data may be checkpointed without the redundant checkpoint of the first subset of the set of stream computing data.

摘要: Early termination of enhanced multimedia broadcast-multicast service (eMBMS) is discussed. Forward error correction (FEC) redundancy data is added to broadcast data, such that if enough of the data symbols are successfully received, the data object may be reassembled before the entire transmission has been received. The aspects involve an application processor and modem processor, which may either be integrated into the same integrated circuit or separate components. The application processor obtains a total number of source symbols and a redundancy level for a data object to be received from the eMBMS, receives the successfully received data symbols from the modem processor, and then determines whether the number of successfully received data symbols exceeds a threshold for reassembling the transmitted data object. If so, then the application processor and/or the modem processor can shut down until the next broadcast.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and system are provided for mitigating interference between two communication sessions based on a determined geographical proximity of two mobile devices (MDs) to each other. In one embodiment, a geographical proximity is determined of a first MD, engaged in a first communication session, to a second MD, engaged in a second communication session. Based on the determined geographical proximity, one of the two communication sessions is transferred to the other MD so that both communication sessions are resident at, and can be controlled by, a same MD. In other embodiments, wherein a first MD is engaged in two communication sessions, one of the two communication sessions may be transferred to a second MD that is sufficiently geographically distant from the first MD or the first MD may use a geographically distant remote wireless device as an uplink and downlink relay device for one of the communication sessions.
