    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may transmit, to a receiver device, an initial message associated with a communication using a first code rate. The transmitter device may receive, from the receiver device, first feedback information indicating that the communication was not successfully decoded by the receiver device. The transmitter device may transmit, to the receiver device based at least in part on the reception of the first feedback information, one or more retransmissions associated with the communication including a first retransmission, wherein the first retransmission includes a first number of bits to lower an effective code rate of the communication to a second code rate. The transmitter device may receive, from the receiver device, second feedback information indicating that the communication was successfully decoded by the receiver device. The methods include a base station mapping transmitter antennas to one of a set of multiple antenna groups based on a power amplifier response of one or more transmitter antennas, determining a power amplifier model for one or more antenna groups based on the power amplifier response of the one or more transmitter antennas, and transmitting an indication of the power amplifier model for one or more antenna groups to a UE.     Abstract: Aspects of disclosure relate to beam steering at a multi-antenna device. The device receives an activation signal to activate one or more input ports of a Butler matrix and outputs signals from all output ports of the Butler matrix based on activation of the one or more input ports. The signals output from the output ports have varying phase shifts relative to each other. Moreover, the device phase shifts the signals output from the output ports via a plurality of phase shifters respectively coupled to the output ports. The phase shifted signals have further varying phase shifts relative to each other and a phase difference between adjacent phase shifted signals. Each one of a plurality of antenna elements at the device receives a phase shifted signal from an associated phase shifter and outputs a beam based on the phase shifted signal received from the associated phase shifter.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control signal allocating downlink resources and uplink resources, where the uplink resources puncture the downlink resources and are allocated for transmitting feedback control information. The UE may generate an uplink signal containing the feedback control information and one or more cancelation tones for canceling interference between a downlink signal and the uplink signal in accordance with a timing advance value. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may generate an uplink signal including the feedback control information, where the uplink signal contains uplink symbols and cyclic extensions appended to the uplink symbols, and the cyclic extensions may be based on the timing advance value. The UE may transmit, while receiving downlink data on the downlink resources, the uplink signal including the feedback control information using the set of uplink resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to use intra-message antenna selection diversity (ASD). The UE may transmit a first portion of a scheduled message within a time interval using a first antenna element of the UE based on an intra-message antenna diversity configuration. The intra-message antenna diversity configuration may indicate a set of antennas available for transmission of the scheduled message. In some cases, the UE may transmit, within the same time interval, at least a portion of the scheduled message using at least a second antenna element of the UE that is different from the first antenna element. In some cases, a receiving UE may decode the first portion and the second portion of the scheduled message based on the intra-message antenna diversity configuration.
