    Abstract: A door opener capable of controlling the door closing speed includes a driving device and a generator mode operating module electrically connected to the driving device. The driving device includes a motor which can be supplied with power to pivot a door from an open position to a closed position. The driving device detects the position of the door by a switch. When pivotal movement of the door is achieved without supplying power to the door, the pivotal movement sets the generator mode operating module to a generator mode or a non-generator mode. In the generator mode, the motor is impeded by the electromagnetic resistance, such that the pivoting speed of the door is reduced. In the non-generator mode, the motor is not impeded by the electromagnetic resistance, such that the pivoting speed of the door is increased.

    Abstract: A door closer may utilize a door closing device (e.g., spring) and a force adjustment device (e.g., a motor) in order to allow for manual door opening and assisted door closing. During operation, as a door is manually opened, the spring is loaded (e.g., compressed or tensioned) above its pre-loaded closed position state. Once manual opening is completed, the spring that is loaded during opening begins returning to the pre-loaded closed position state, and thus, moves the door automatically towards the closed position. Depending on the pre-loaded spring setting, the closing force of the door may not be enough to close the door, or to close the door with the preferred force. As such, during closing a controller may engage a motor not to drive the door directly, but to increase the pre-load of spring to increase the closing force in order to allow the door to close as preferred.

    Abstract: A kitchen appliance is described. The kitchen appliance has a chamber delimited by a wall arrangement and a lid for sealing the chamber. The lid is attached to the wall arrangement through a hinge mechanism having an arm and a further arm. The arm has a first terminal portion attached to the wall arrangement through a first pivot proximal to a first end portion of the lid and an opposing second terminal portion attached to an intermediate portion of the lid through a second pivot.     Abstract: In an assembled state of a hinge, the hinge is configured to be capable of adjusting a rotational position when holding a door or the like. The hinge includes a first member (1) and a second member (2) which are rotatable relative to each other. A first cam (11) is provided on the first member (1), a second cam (12) is provided on the second member (2) so as to be non-rotatable and movable in an axial direction thereof, and the second cam (12) is biased to the first cam (11) by biasing means (14) in the axial direction. The first cam (11) and the second cam (12) are configured to hold the second cam (12) in a predetermined rotational position relative to the first cam (11) by biasing force of the biasing means (14). In the assembled state of the hinge, it is possible to adjust the rotational position of the first cam (11) relative to the first member (1). The holding force of the first member (1) to the first cam (11) is larger than the holding force of the first cam (11) to the second cam (12) in a circumferential direction thereof.

    Abstract: A hinge structure including an axis body, a torque member, and a pressing assembly is provided. The axis body includes a contact surface.
