Abstract: A display device includes: a display layer; a sensor layer on the display layer; and a sensor driver to drive the sensor layer. The sensor layer includes: a plurality of sensing electrodes; a plurality of sensing lines connected to the plurality of sensing electrodes, respectively; a multiplexer circuit connected to the plurality of sensing lines, and including a control transistor including a gate electrode; and a connection line connected between the multiplexer circuit and the sensor driver. The sensor driver includes a sensing circuit connected between the connection line and the gate electrode of the control transistor, and to output a control signal to the gate electrode of the control transistor based on a sensing signal of the connection line.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a first non-foldable area, a foldable area, and a second non-foldable area defined therein, a sensor including a plurality of loop portions and a plurality of line portions, and at least one transverse line comprising at least one of the loop portions and the line portions that overlaps substantially all of the first non-foldable area, the foldable area, and the second non-foldable area. The at least one transverse line includes a first rigid portion overlapping the first non-foldable area, a flexible portion overlapping the foldable area, and a second rigid portion overlapping the second non-foldable area. The flexible portion has a first width, the first rigid portion has a second width, the second rigid portion has a third width, with the first width being greater than the second width and the third width.

The sensor electrodes emit an electromagnetic wave according to transmission signals of the sensor lines.
