    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, a communications apparatus, and a communications system, to determine a physical resource block (PRB) grid when a center frequency of a synchronization signal (SS) is inconsistent with a center frequency of a carrier. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, an SS from a network device; determining, by the terminal, a first PRB grid based on the SS; receiving, by the terminal, first indication information from the network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate a first frequency offset between the first PRB grid and a second PRB grid; and determining, by the terminal, the second PRB grid based on the first PRB grid and the first frequency offset.

    Abstract: This application provides a data communication method, a terminal, and a base station. In one embodiment, the terminal receives a first demodulation reference signal based on a first physical resource block index. The first physical resource block index is determined based on a first location in frequency domain, and the first demodulation reference signal is used to demodulate a data channel on which system information is located. The terminal sends and/or receives a second demodulation reference signal based on a second physical resource block index. The second physical resource block index is determined based on a second location in frequency domain, and the second demodulation reference signal is used to demodulate a data channel other than the data channel on which the system information is located.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a signal transmission method and apparatus, a communications system, a terminal, and a base station, where the method includes: determining a repetition factor or an extended sequence of a channel; determining a time domain resource according to the repetition factor or a length of the extended sequence, where the time domain resource is a transmission subframe; and sending a signal by using the transmission subframe of the channel. The signal transmission method, apparatus, communications system, terminal, and base station that are provided by the present invention can solve the technical problem of poor channel coverage in a signal transmission method in the prior art.

    Abstract: A method, device and system for regulating power consumption are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. A method for regulating power consumption includes: obtaining, by a base station, an application point and a configuration parameter; sending, by the base station, an indication message to a terminal according to the application point and configuration parameter; regulating, by the base station, the power consumption of the base station by using the configuration parameter at the application point; the configuration parameter comprises cell antenna information or system bandwidth information; the indication message instructs the terminal to use the configuration parameter at the application point. Under the condition that user's normal communication is remained, the number of cell antennas or the cell bandwidth is dynamically changed. This reduces the power consumption of the network device.
