Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for multiplexing HARQ feedback in a same slot for downlink and sidelink transmissions. An example method generally includes receiving, from a network entity, a downlink control information (DCI) that schedules resources for at least one physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission from the first UE to a second UE, transmitting data to the second UE via the at least one PSSCH transmission using the scheduled resources, receiving, from the second UE, acknowledgment feedback for the at least one PSSCH transmission, selecting at least one codebook entry for providing feedback for at least one downlink transmission from the network entity to the first UE and the acknowledgment feedback for the at least one PSSCH transmission in a same physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) slot, and transmitting the at least one codebook entry to the network entity via at least one PUCCH transmission.

Abstract: Aspects relate to managing a device-to-device communication link via radio resource control (RRC) layer signaling. In an example operation, a first wireless communication device establishes a unicast link with a second wireless communication device over a device-to-device communication interface and determines that the unicast link is to be reconfigured with at least one updated parameter. The first wireless communication device then sends a link reconfiguration request to the second wireless communication device via a first RRC message over the communication interface. The first RRC message includes the at least one updated parameter. The first wireless communication device receives a link reconfiguration response from the second wireless communication device via a second RRC message over the communication interface based on the link reconfiguration request and determines whether to reconfigure the unicast link using the at least one updated parameter based on the received link reconfiguration response.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus communicates with a second apparatus, including transmitting or receiving a first transmission. The apparatus receives information about the second UE from a sensor at the first UE and/or from a BSM. The apparatus determines whether the first apparatus and the second apparatus are in a LOS condition based on a correlation of the information with one or more of a channel estimation, PMI feedback, or RI feedback. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide synchronization techniques for user equipment (UEs) that may be otherwise unable to support sidelink communication a synchronized UE and may have also lost global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and/or Evolved Node Base Stations (eNBs) as a synchronization source. In such instance, the unsynchronized UE may utilize reference signals (RS) from the data packets received from other UEs to track the timing and perform autonomous timing adjustments based thereon for synchronized packet transmission or reception.
