Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for an autonomous fallback for a full-duplex beam pair. In a first aspect, a first wireless device may determine an occurrence of a performance trigger for a current beam pair for full-duplex communication at the first wireless device and use a fallback full-duplex beam pair in response to determining the occurrence of the performance trigger. In a second aspect, the first wireless device may receive an indication from a second wireless device of an occurrence of the performance trigger for the current beam pair for full-duplex communication and using the fallback full-duplex beam pair for communication with the second wireless device in response to receiving the indication.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first node may transmit, to a second node on a beamformed link from the first node to the second node, a first signal, wherein the first node and the second node are associated with common timing; determine whether a second signal, based at least in part on the first signal, is received on a beamformed link from the second node to the first node; and transmit a third signal based at least in part on receiving the second signal or perform a sidelink beam failure recovery procedure based at least in part on determining that the second signal is not received. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration from a base station for receiving multiple repetitions of a transmission in a slot aggregation. The UE receives an indication indicating one or more beams used for the multiple repetitions of the transmission. The UE receives a first repetition of the transmission in a first slot based on single frequency network (SFN) operation using at least one configuration that is different from a configuration used for receiving a second repetition in a second slot based on non-SFN operation. The UE optionally determines, based on the indication, whether repetitions within the multiple repetitions of the transmission are transmitted by the base station based on the SFN operation or the non-SFN operation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a serving base station, a message indicating a set of synchronization signal block (SSB) resources for synchronization signal transmission by the serving base station and by one or more neighbor base stations. The SSB resources may include a first portion of resources associated with the serving base station and additional portions of resources associated with the one or more neighbor base stations. The UE may identify two or more symbols which are adjacent to consecutive SSB resources of the set of SSB resources, and exclude the two or more symbols from being used for communications between the UE and the serving base station based on the two or more symbols being adjacent to consecutive SSB resources. The UE may communicate with the serving base station on symbols other than the two or more symbols.
