    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology provide systems and methods for configuring a power supply unit (PSU) of a rack system. The rack system contains one or more nodes, each of which can has a first housing and a second housing. The first housing stores a power supply unit (PSU) that can be easily accessed by a technician or a user from a front of the rack system. The second housing stores a plurality of computer-readable memory devices and has a first portion and a second portion. The first housing is positioned in the front of the rack system and in a central portion of the rack system between the first portion and the second portion of the second housing.

    Abstract: In some implementations, cooling fans can be mounted in a server chassis using a multi-level vibration dampening mechanism to reduce the transmission of fan vibrations to the server chassis. For example, a plurality of cooling fans can be housed within a plurality of fan cages. The plurality of fan cages can be mounted to a cooling fan tray. The cooling fan tray can be mounted to the chassis. For example, the mountings used to attach the fan cages to the tray and the tray to the chassis can include resilient vibration dampers. Thus, the vibrations generated by the cooling fans can be more effectively reduced and operation of vibration sensitive server components can be improved.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a data-sharing system, including a media server, a first device and a second device. The media server has a media server address and is configured to store at least one media file. The first device is configured to download the media file from the media server according to the media server address, and play the media file on a media player program. The first device further outputs file information corresponding to the media file according to a switching signal. The second device is configured to receive the file information from the first device, stream the media file from the media server according to the file information, and play the media file on the media player program.

    Abstract: An indoor positioning method for use in an indoor positioning system is provided. The indoor positioning system includes beacon devices, a mobile device, and a positioning server. The method includes the steps of: utilizing the mobile device to receive a positioning signal from each beacon device and determine distance information between the mobile device and each beacon device; determining a specific primary region in which the mobile device is located according to the distance information between the mobile device and the top beacon devices; determining a precise location in the specific primary region according to the distance information between the mobile device and the planar beacon devices corresponding to the specific primary region; and reporting the precise location to the mobile device, so that the precise location is illustrated on a plan view of the indoor space displayed on the mobile device.

    Abstract: A fixing bracket is used to fix a plurality of storage devices in a housing.     Abstract: A system, method and computer-readable storage devices for providing protection mechanisms to a server motherboard prior to its booting. A system configured according to this would, upon receiving power at a motherboard, and prior to booting the motherboard: generate a nonce, send the nonce to a first component on the motherboard, and send the nonce to a second component on the motherboard. The system then receives a response from at least one of the first component on the motherboard and the second component on the motherboard, wherein the response is based on a communication protocol between the first component and the second component, the communication protocol utilizing the nonce. When the response indicates a correct hardware configuration, the system performs the booting of the motherboard.
