    Abstract: A method of determining a touch event in a touch detection system includes: receiving at least one sensing signal corresponding to at least one driving signal configured to drive a touch panel; determining whether a touch event occurs by performing an initial digital operation on the at least one sensing signal; performing an entire determination on the at least one sensing signal after at least one of one or more predetermined conditions is determined to be satisfied, wherein one of the one or more predetermined conditions is that the touch event is determined to occur; and not performing the entire determination on the at least one sensing signal after each of the one or more predetermined conditions is determined to be unsatisfied.

    Abstract: A display panel including a plurality of pixel units, a plurality of source lines, a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of common electrode lines is provided. The pixels units are arranged in array. The array includes a plurality of columns and a plurality of rows. The source lines are respectively coupled with the pixel units disposed in a same column of the columns. The gate lines are respectively coupled with the pixel units disposed in a same row of the rows. The common electrode lines and gate lines extend parallelly with each other. At least one of the source date lines, the gate lines and the common electrode lines has the line widths varied along the extension direction thereof.

    Abstract: A motion estimation method for blocks of a periodic pattern is provided, which includes determining a global motion vector corresponding to a region according to motion vectors of periodic blocks in the region; generating candidate motion vectors of a target periodic block to be encoded in a second frame; for each candidate motion vector, determining a penalty value based on at least one difference between the candidate motion vector and at least one global motion vector corresponding to at least a relative region in the first frame; for each candidate motion vector, calculating a weighted similarity value based on an original similarity value between the target periodic block of the second frame and a reference block corresponding to the candidate motion vector of the first frame, and the penalty value; and determining a motion vector of the target periodic block according to weighted similarity values of the candidate motion vectors.

    Abstract: A sub-pixel arrangement structure of an organic light emitting diode display including a plurality of sub-pixels is provided. The plurality of sub-pixels are arranged in a first direction and a second direction to form a sub-pixel array. The first direction is inclined at a first angle relative to a reference direction, and the second direction is inclined at a second angle relative to the reference direction. Each four sub-pixels of the plurality of sub-pixels form a virtual quadrangle. The each four sub-pixels include two sub-pixels having a same color, and the two sub-pixels having the same color are arranged at adjacent vertexes of the virtual quadrangle in one of the first direction and the second direction.

    Abstract: A source driver utilized for a display device and switching between two operational modes includes a reception module for receiving a plurality of display information and a plurality of transmission channels. Each transmission channel includes a register module for receiving one of the plurality of display information; a voltage level transformer for determining a voltage level of the one of display information; a polarization digital-to-analog converter for processing a digital-to-analog operation for the voltage level of the one display information; and an output module for outputting a plurality of voltage levels of the display information. The voltage levels of every two adjacent transmission channels include different polarization of voltage levels, and the output module processes an odd-number switching operation before outputting the plurality of voltage levels.
