Abstract:
A fastener and an attachment assembly. The fastener includes a bolt having a first bolt portion, a second bolt portion and an intermediate bolt portion arranged between the first bolt portion and the second bolt portion. The first bolt portion is conical and the second bolt portion is threaded. A first bushing has a conical inner surface arranged in circumferential abutment to the first bolt portion and a nut to be threadedly engaged to the second bolt portion. The attachment assembly secures objects to each other and includes at least two bores, arranged through the objects, including a first bore portion, a second bore portion and an intermediate bore portion, respectively. The intermediate bore portion is arranged between the first bore portion and the second bore portion. The attachment assembly also comprises at least two fasteners, each fastener is arranged inside the bores, respectively.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for identifying a difference between a first 3D model of an environment and a second 3D model of the environment. The first and second 3D model each comprise a plurality of points or parts, wherein each point or part of the first and second model comprises geometrical information and texture information. Corresponding points or parts of the first and second 3D model are matched based on the geometrical information and/or the texture information. The matched points or parts of the first and second model are compared to determine at least one difference value based on the geometrical information and the texture information of the first and second model. A difference between the first and second model is identified if the at least one difference value exceeds a predetermined value. The invention also relates to an arrangement, a computer program, and a computer program product.
Abstract:
An antenna frame for reducing radar cross section of a vehicle provided with a flat microstrip patch antenna array comprising a number of microstrip patches arranged in an array pattern, the antenna frame:—being arranged to surround the outer periphery of the flat antenna array—the frame comprising a first conductive sheet;—the first conductive sheet extending from the most peripheral patches and outward in a sloping manner; wherein dielectric and magnetic absorbent material are arranged to improve impedance transition from a point of the antenna to a point on the periphery of the frame, which is also contemplated as adjoining a vehicle fuselage.
Abstract:
A decoy material dispenser. An elongated decoy material package includes an elongated strip-shaped container including a plurality of depressions receiving decoy material. A cover covers and hermitically seals the container. A gripping portion cooperates with a feeder including a gripper. A housing includes a storage section that stores the package. An outlet releases the decoy material. A waste collection section collects empty packages. A feeder device feeds the package from the storage section to the outlet and to the waste collection section. The feeder device includes a feeder and a driver. The feeder includes a gripper that cooperates with the gripping portion. The package is oriented in the dispenser such that the cover is directed towards the outlet and the container is directed away from the outlet. A force applicator applies pressure to the container. A package opener opens, cuts or perforates the package to release the decoy material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a holder device configured for fastening to a substantially cylindrical body, such as a gun barrel, for the support of equipment such as a sight. The holder device comprises at least two holder elements, one holder element being configured for secure fixing to the cylindrical body and the other one being arranged such that it is movably coupled to the first-named holder element. According to the invention, the holder elements are arranged such that they are rotatable in relation to each other about a common axis between a first position, the transport position, and a second position, the activated position, and one of the holder elements is axially displaceable along the common axis from a position of equilibrium defined by a spring arrangement. The holder device reduces the transmission of axial recoil motions between the holder elements.
Abstract:
In a method for filling pores between two adjacent layers of a laminate for a component with high demands upon strength and comprising several layers of fibre composite having within each layer substantially parallel fibres embedded in a matrix, a connection path is created, through which a medium may move inside the laminate, between the exterior of the laminate and the pore by exerting the laminate at least in the region of the pore for forces making slots to propagate substantially in the matrix through each laminate layer along the fibre direction of the layer. A flowing, curable material is after that applied at an outer surface of the laminate and this is brought to fill the pore through the connection path. Finally, the material filling the pore is brought to cure.
Abstract:
A scanner for bubble chamber photographs comprises a rotatable mirror-carrying outer member and an inner periscope member that rotates with and moves lengthwise relative to the outer member. The periscope member has accurately straight track surfaces along its length that parallel the rotational axis and lie in substantially perpendicular planes which respectively extend to opposite sides of said axis. Each of said tracks is engaged by rollers carried by the outer member at fixed axially spaced locations. Other rollers on the outer member engage the periscope member under radially inward bias to maintain the track surfaces guidingly engaged with the first mentioned rollers.
