Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communications system may support non-codebook-based precoding based on downlink channel predictions. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a channel state information (CSI) reference signal (CSI-RS) and a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource. The control signaling may instruct the UE to transmit an SRS via the SRS resource. The control signaling may indicate a differential value indicating a time after the SRS resource at which the UE is to predict CSI. The UE may receive, via the CSI-RS resource, a CSI-RS. The UE may transmit, via the SRS resource, the SRS that is precoded based on predicted CSI for a wireless channel resource that occurs in time after the SRS resource. The predicted CSI may be based on the CSI-RS.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a configuration that defines a first number of positioning measurement transmission beams, each positioning measurement transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE, and a second number of positioning discovery transmission beams, each positioning discovery transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE. The UE may transmit the positioning discovery transmission beams, then receive, from at least one other UE, feedback related to at least one of the positioning discovery transmission beams, and, based on that feedback, determine a subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams to be used for performing positioning measurements. The UE may perform the positioning measurements using the subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for optimizing the reporting of Uu-RTT or SL-RTT measurements. An identified TX-RS resource being used by the UE for determining a UE RX-TX time difference associated with a time difference between reception of the RX-RS and transmission of the TX-RS. The apparatus measures the UE RX-TX time difference based on received RX-RS in the RX-RS resource and transmitted TX-RS in the identified TX-RS resource when TX-RS is transmitted in the identified TX-RS resource.

Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive positioning assistance data from a location server, wherein the positioning assistance data identifies one or more first positioning reference signal (PRS) resources for measurement by the UE during a positioning session between the UE and a location server. The UE may receive post-measurement positioning assistance data from at least one sidelink device located within a threshold distance to the UE, wherein the post-measurement positioning assistance data received from the at least one sidelink device is based on measurements of one or more second PRS resources obtained by the at least one sidelink device during a positioning session of the at least one sidelink device. The UE may selectively measure at least a subset of the one or more first PRS resources based on the post-measurement positioning assistance data received from the at least one sidelink device.
