    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication technique that fuses a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4G system with IoT technology, and a system therefor. The present disclosure may be applied to an intelligent service (for example, smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or connected car, health care, digital education retail, a security and safety related service, etc.) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT related technology. The present invention provides a resource allocation and PRB bundling method suitable for uplink sub-band precoding such that the uplink sub-band precoding is efficiently performed without a large increase in an uplink related downlink control information payload.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A method, performed by a base station, includes identifying configuration information for single carrier signal transmission, transmitting the single carrier signal transmission configuration information to a terminal, transmitting control information scheduling data transmission, and transmitting data to the terminal using a single carrier according to the single carrier signal transmission configuration information and the control information. The single carrier signal transmission configuration information comprises at least one of offset or comb information indicating a resource to which the terminal can be scheduled, frequency resource information of a bandwidth part, or sub-carrier spacing information.

Particularly, the present invention provides a method for acquiring time and frequency synchronization by a terminal in a communication system, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a first synchronization signal from a base station; receiving a second synchronization signal from the base station; and receiving a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) from the base station, and acquiring downlink time and frequency synchronization with the base station on the basis of the CSI-RS.

The present invention provides a method by which a base station transmits a DM-RS in a wireless mobile communication system supporting a first transmission time interval (TTI) and a second TTI, comprising the steps of: checking a TTI used in a downlink control channel transmission; determining, as a first pattern, a DM-RS for the downlink control channel if the TTI is the first TTI, and determining, as a second pattern, a DM-RS for the downlink control channel if the TTI is the second TTI; and transmitting, to the terminal, the downlink control channel and the DM-RS according to the determination.
