Abstract:
In order for upsetting presses to be able to work more effectively and in more energy-optimized manner for upsetting of an end of longitudinally extending workpieces, an upsetting press for upsetting of an end of longitudinally extending workpieces has at least two longitudinally divided dies, having at least two die parts. A first one of the two die parts is disposed on a first die revolver and a second one of the two die parts is disposed on a second die revolver.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a guide roller comprising a bearing journal (13) at each of two ends. Each bearing journal is provided with a plain bearing (14), which is designed as a hollow journal, and can be connected to the coolant supply line in order to conduct a coolant through the hollow journal into the coolant channel (12) or to conduct the coolant out of the coolant channel. The plain bearing (14) is lubricated by the coolant that is conducted through the bearing journal (13) designed as a hollow journal. A roller assembly for a strand casting system is provided with a plurality of said guide rollers (1). The guide rollers are arranged at an axial distance from each other along a strand (2) produced by the strand casting system and are each rotatably supported in a respective bearing mount (3). Each bearing mount is arranged on at least one frame part (4, 5) in a preloaded manner. The bearing mounts (3) are supported on the frame parts (4, 5) so as to be self-setting by means of elastically pliable connecting means (6). Even if the strand cross-section of the produced strand changes during the operating duration or due to changed process parameters, the originally set pressing force of the guide rollers remains substantially unchanged.
Abstract:
A refractory casting tube for a mould for continuously casting molten metal is provided with a top part (33) and a bottom part (35) which dips into the molten metal in the inner mould space (6) during the casting. A refractory deflection element (35) is integrated in the funnel-shaped or similarly shaped inlet (34) of the top part (33) and is shaped in such a manner that a fluid-dynamic dissipation is generated on the molten metal (21) during casting in said inlet (4, 34). The molten steel therefore flows into the mould roughly as a uniform flow with a homogeneous and stable distribution.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an installation part for mounting an upper support roll in a roll stand. The installation part has, on its cambered side, a lubricant receiving space, from which at least one lubricant drain hole (130) extends, in the lower region of the installation part, in the direction of the drain side of the installation part. In order to be able to reduce the width in the lower region of the installation part and while guaranteeing the stability of the installation part, it is proposed according to the invention that the distance d from the center point of the lubricant drain hole (130) to the vertical longitudinal center plane LM of the installation part is ≦half of the diameter of the main hole and that—in the vertical longitudinal center plane—the vertical minimum distance s from the counter-surface of a ring seal (400) in the lower region of the installation part to the horizontal tangential plane (500) at the top edge of the lubricant drain hole is not below a specified minimum clearance threshold value.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a device for straightening a stream of a cooling medium for cooling a roll or a metal strip. This device comprise a hollow body, extending over at least part of the width of the roll or the metal strip, and a tube, arranged in the hollow body and extending in the direction of the width of the roll or the metal strip, wherein the hollow body is divided in the direction of the width of the roll or the metal strip into a number of chambers, and the tube comprises openings for introducing cooling medium into the chambers of the hollow body, and the chambers respectively comprise an opening for the flowing out of cooling medium from the hollow body. Furthermore, according to the invention the chambers, respectively, comprise a channel, formed between the inner wall of the hollow body and the tube, for conducting cooling medium from the openings of the tube to the opening for the outflow of cooling medium from the hollow body, wherein the flow cross-section of the channel narrows art least at its downstream end.
Abstract:
A method for establishing distortion properties of an optical system in a microlithographic measurement system is provided. The optical system has at least one pupil plane, in which the distortion properties of the optical system are established on the basis of measuring at least one distortion pattern, which the optical system generates when imaging a predetermined structure in an image field. The distortion properties of the optical system are established on the basis of a plurality of measurements of distortion patterns, in which these measurements differ from one another in respect of the intensity distribution present in each case in the pupil plane.
Abstract:
In a method for operating an indirect extrusion press, wherein the indirect extrusion press includes an indirect punch having a tool head that can be accommodated on the indirect punch, a closure piece, and a longitudinally movable block holder having a material block accommodation for accommodating a material block, after pressing a material block and forming a shell in a shell chamber, a tool head to be replaced is pushed out of the block holder by a tool head to be inserted, so that very operationally reliable removal of a shell formed during one or more pressing procedures is possible. For this purpose, an indirect extrusion press can have a maximal distance between a closure piece and an indirect punch that corresponds at least to the sum of the expanses of the tool head and of the block holder in the movement direction.
Abstract:
A method for concentrating metal chlorides in and separating same from an iron(III) chloride-containing hydrochloric acid solution is described, wherein iron is precipitated from the solution as iron oxide, preferably haematite and filtered off in a filtration device, and the now further concentrated non-hydrolysable metal chlorides are removed from at least a part of the hydrochloric acid filtrate.
Abstract:
The present inventions relates to a substrate for a photolithographic mask comprising a coating deposited on a rear surface of the substrate, wherein the coating comprises (a) at least one electrically conducting layer, and (b) wherein a thickness of the at least one layer is smaller than 30 nm, preferably smaller than 20 nm, and most preferably smaller than 10 nm.
