Abstract: Access by a mobile station to a femto access point (FAP) of a wireless communication system is controlled by an enforcement point in response to mobile station authorization data provided from a storage point that is remote from the FAP. The authorization data is provided in response to FAP authentication data. The authentication data may include a FAP identifier and a message authenticator that the FAP generates by hashing shared secret information. The storage point may provide the authorization data in response to determining that the message authenticator is a hash of the shared secret information.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems that may help various wireless devices negatively acknowledge certain wireless transmissions. An example method, performed at a first wireless node, generally includes obtaining information indicating transmission, from a second wireless node, of a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) intended for the first wireless node, generating a frame indicating negative acknowledgment of at least a portion of the PPDU if one or more conditions are met, and outputting the frame to the second wireless node.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for dynamic transmit power control. Some aspects more specifically relate to dynamically enable transmit power during a transmission opportunity (TxOP) to minimize the transmit power being used for message transmissions. In some implementations, a wireless device may transmit, at a first transmit power, a first message that indicates that the wireless device will transmit one or more second messages during a TxOP. The wireless device may select a second transmit power for the second message(s) and a plurality of transmission parameters, wherein the second transmit power satisfies a metric for the one or more second messages. The wireless device may transmit the second message(s) during the TxOP at the second transmit power and in accordance with respective values of the plurality of transmission parameters.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems for service period parameter scheduling for frame exchange procedures. In some examples, a first wireless device (such as an access point (AP), a station (STA)), may communicate with a second wireless device (such as a STA, an AP) during a scheduled service period. The first wireless device may indicate an upper or lower limit for communication parameters used by the first wireless device and the second wireless device during the service period. The first wireless device may communicate with the second wireless device according to the limited parameters. In some examples, the first wireless device may be available to communicate with other wireless devices outside of the scheduled service period. In such examples, the first wireless device may communicate with the other wireless devices according to a second set of parameters indicated alongside the first set of parameters.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for techniques for end-to-end operations between a first wireless station (STA) and a second STA via a wireless access point (AP). Some aspects more specifically relate to indicating one or more quality of service (QOS) parameters to the AP, sharing transmission opportunities (TXOPs) between the first STA and the AP, or both. In some examples, the first STA may identify one or more QoS parameters and may transmit, to the AP, an indication of the one or more QoS parameters, such that the AP may configure the second STA with the one or more QoS parameters. Additionally, or alternatively, the first STA may obtain a TXOP and may share the TXOP with the AP, such that the AP may use the shared TXOP to forward a message received from the first STA to the second STA.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for discovery signaling for seamless roaming. Some aspects more specifically relate to indicating or advertising information associated with a single mobility domain (SMD) and information associated with access point (AP) devices that support seamless roaming. In some implementations, an AP device or a multi-link device (MLD) may transmit parameters associated with the SMD MLD to advertise information of the SMD MLD. In some implementations, the AP device or MLD may advertise candidate AP devices, which may support the seamless roaming. A non-MLD device, such as a wireless station (STA), may request additional information for a candidate AP device that supports seamless roaming. The AP device may transmit a response to the request indicating a portion of a profile of the candidate AP device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for enhancements to request to send (RTS) and clear to send (CTS) exchanges. A first wireless device may receive a beacon frame indicating for the first wireless device to monitor a first channel for a first frame that schedules communication via one or more channels. The first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, the first frame indicating a channel bandwidth and a puncturing pattern of multiple available puncturing patterns for the channel bandwidth. The puncturing pattern may be associated with a first subset of a set of multiple channels of the channel bandwidth. The first wireless device may transmit, to the second wireless device, a second frame indicating that a second subset of channels is available and may receive one or more data packets via the second subset of channels.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for managing a multi-traffic identifier (TID) and multi-link block acknowledgment (BA) negotiation scheme. In some aspects, to negotiate a setup session between wireless communication devices, a first wireless communication device may transmit a request message including an information container that includes one or more negotiation parameter sets each associated with a type of traffic. For example, a type of traffic may correspond to a TID or a resource reservation for a particular traffic flow. Each negotiation parameter set may indicate functionalities being negotiated for the setup session. In association with the negotiation, a second wireless communication device may transmit a response message to the first wireless communication device that includes values for the negotiation parameter sets. For example, the response message may include an acknowledgment (ACK) indicating an acceptance of one or more of the parameter sets for the setup session.
