Abstract:
A compact coin delivery device includes a rotary disk with indented concave portions for receiving a coin from a hopper or a coin storage bowl. A movable member in the concave portion can have controlled movement for ejecting the coin at a desired location. An endless conveyer member with pins can receive the coin and transport it in an L-shaped path. The coins can be released to individual chutes for separating coins of different dimensions and denominations, both on a path away from the coin delivery device and on a return path to the coin delivery device. Solenoid activated members can assist in displacing certain coins from the conveyor path, including into a separate retention or storage box.
Abstract:
An adjustable bed includes a platform having a flexible surface, a flex mechanism adapted to flex the platform to form a flexion position that includes at least one of a sitting-up position and a knee break, and a tilt mechanism adapted to tilt the platform surface laterally, the flex and tilt mechanisms both being operable with the other mechanism in an operational state. Furthermore, the adjustable bed includes a side member disposed on a side of the platform, and a side-member lift mechanism adapted to raise the side member relative to the platform surface, the tilt mechanism tilting the platform surface toward the side member raised by the side-member lift mechanism.

The present invention specifically relates to a fiber product treating agent containing (a) a compounds represented by the following formulae (1-1) and (1-2) and (b) a perfume, wherein the content of compounds as component (a) in which the carbon number of R11 is 21 or more is 50% by weight or more, or a fiber product treating agent comprising the above components (a) and (b), wherein the content of perfumery components having a boiling point of 250° C. or more and a logPow of 3 or more is 20% by weight or more in the component (b), and a method of using the above component (a) to increase the longevity of the perfume in the fiber product treating agent. wherein R11 represents a C15-23 alkyl or alkenyl group, A represents —CONH— or —NHCO—, R12 represents a C1-6 alkylene group, R13 and R14 respectively represent a C1-3 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group, R15 represents H or C1-3 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group, a denotes a number of 0 or 1 and X− represents an anionic group.
Abstract:
A privilege management system enabling effective privilege management, such as confirmation processing of service receiving privileges and so forth, is realized. A group attribute certificate which has, as stored information, group identification information corresponding to a group which is a set of certain devices or certain users, and also has affixed an electronic signature of an issuer, is issued to a service reception entity, and verification is performed by means of signature verification for of the group attribute certificate presented from the user device regarding whether or not there has been tampering, screening is performed regarding whether or not this is a service-permitted group based on group identification information stored in the group attribute certificate by using a group information database, and determination is made regarding whether or not service can be provided, based on the screening. Centralized privilege confirmation corresponding to various user sets or device sets can be made, so management of individual privilege information can be omitted, thereby enabling effective privilege management.
Abstract:
So as to reduce the size of a reading and writing apparatus for IC coins and to lower the cost of a reading and writing apparatus for IC coins, a reading and writing apparatus for IC coins is provided that includes a reception portion that receives an IC coin with its surface facing a customer, and moves the IC coin in a predetermined direction to sends the IC coin to a reading and writing portion. The reading and writing portion retains the received IC coin with its surface visually confirmed by the customer. A reading and writing unit for the IC coin is placed at the reading and writing portion, and a sorting portion sorts the IC coin held at the reading and writing portion to a return portion.
Abstract:
A smart card handling device with a communication board attaching unit including a first base attached to the card handling device and a second base for carrying a set of one or more communication boards for communicating with a non-contact type smart card or a contact type smart card along a transporting passageway. The first base and the second base have a complementary mounting to suitably mate together. The communication board attaching unit can selectively pivot to enable a recycling operation.
Abstract:
A bank note dispensing device includes a storage unit which can store bank notes that can be dispensed to a user through a discharge opening. A monitor unit can be operatively positioned relative to a passageway for transporting the bank notes in order to determine any abnormal conditions, such as accidental discharge of duplicate bank notes. A diverting unit can be operatively connected to the monitoring unit to remove a bank note from the passageway when the monitoring unit indicates an abnormal condition. A second diverting unit can be activated to position a removed bank note in a reject storage container. A recycle unit can receive an abnormal designated bank note and provide a second passageway to return the abnormal designated bank note to a position for subsequent transportation by the transporting unit through the discharge opening.
Abstract:
Provided are a hair cosmetic composition comprising an ether type cationic surfactant represented by the following formula (1): wherein, R1 represents a linear or branched C6-24 alkyl or alkenyl group, R2 and R4 each represents a C1-6 alkyl group or —(AO)nH (A: a C2-4 alkylene group, n: a number of from 1 to 6 with the proviso that n pieces of A may be the same or different and their sequence is optional), R3 represents a C1-6 alkyl group or —(A′O)mH (A′: a C2-4 alkylene group, m: a number of from 1 to 6 with the proviso that m pieces of A may be the same or different and their sequence is optional), and X− represents an anion; a hair cleansing composition containing the cationic surfactant(1); and a method of treating hair with these compositions. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention can impart good flexibility and smoothness to hair not only when it is wetted but also after drying. When used as a hair cleansing composition, it provides excellent quality of foam and feeling upon use and exhibits good low-temperature stability.
Abstract:
An efficient and relatively easily manufactured sorting device for separating duplicated banknotes includes a resistant guide unit for initially contacting the banknotes and a rotatable driving unit having a higher friction surface that is positioned downstream of the resistant guide unit for subsequently pulling the banknote from the resistance guide unit whereby a duplicated banknote will be separated. The sorting device can be installed in a dispensing device for storing banknotes and can be positioned in a recycle passageway wherein banknotes can be aligned by an arraying device prior to submission to the sorting device. The resistance guide unit can include a pair of eccentrically mounted fixed curved surface members. A second rotatable roller can be in contact with the rotatable driving roller to form a nipping section downstream of the initial banknote contact with the resistance guide unit.
