Disclosed are an intra prediction mode based image processing method, and an apparatus therefor. In particular, a method for processing an image on the basis of an intra prediction mode comprises the steps of: inputting, in most probable mode (MPM) candidates, intra prediction modes of a plurality of neighboring blocks which neighbor a current block, and then deriving the MPM candidates by inputting, in the MPM candidates, intra prediction modes within substitute modes consisting of a plurality of intra prediction modes, to which priorities are given, according to the priorities until the total number of MPM candidates is satisfied; deriving, from the MPM candidates, an intra prediction mode applied to the current block using an MPM index indicating a specific intra prediction mode; and generating a prediction block of the current block by applying the derived intra prediction mode.

A method for filtering a reconstructed picture performed by an encoding device, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: deriving first filter information for a target region of a reconstructed picture; selecting one among the derived first filter information and a second filter information included in the filter bank; and performing filtering on the target region in the reconstructed picture on the basis of the selected filter information, wherein, if the first filter information is selected, the filter bank is updated, and if the second filter information is selected, a filter index may be transmitted to a decoder. According to the present invention, the filtering of a reconstructed picture on the basis of the filter bank may be efficiently performed, and the amount of data allocated to the transmission/reception of filter information is reduced therethrough, consequently enabling the increase of compression and coding efficiency.

The present invention relates to method and device for decoding a bitstream for a video signal, the method comprising the steps of: obtaining a predicted value for a current block on the basis of a moving vector of the current block; and restoring the current block on the basis of the predicted value for the current block. In case a particular condition is satisfied, the step of obtaining the predicted value for the current block comprises: obtaining of a first predicted value by applying, to an area located at a particular boundary of the current block, a motion vector of a neighboring block adjacent to the area; obtaining of a second predicted value by applying a motion vector of the current block to the area; and obtaining of a weighted sum by applying a first weight to the first predicted value and by applying a second weight to the second predicted value.

A 3D video decoding method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: determining whether to apply motion vector inheritance for inducing a motion vector of a depth picture, using motion information of a texture picture; when it is determined to apply the motion vector inheritance, inducing a current block within the depth picture to a sub-block sized depth sub-block for the motion vector inheritance; inducing a motion vector of the depth sub-block from a texture block within the texture picture corresponding to the depth sub-block; and inducing a reconstructed sample of the current block by generating a prediction sample of the depth sub-block on the basis of the motion vector of the depth sub-block.

The present invention relates to 3D video coding device and method. A decoding method, according to the present invention, provides a 3D video decoding method. A decoding method comprises the steps of: obtaining a disparity value on the basis of a reference view and a predetermined value; deriving movement information of a current block in a depth picture on the basis of the disparity value; and generating a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of the movement information, wherein the reference view is a view of a reference picture in a reference picture list. According to the present invention, even when a base view cannot be accessed, a disparity vector can be derived on the basis of an available reference view index in a decoded picture buffer (DPB), and coding efficiency can be enhanced.

The present invention relates to a method for constituting a merge candidate list by using a view synthesis prediction (VSP) and the like in multi-view video coding. The method for constituting the merge candidate list according to the present invention comprises the steps of: determining a prediction mode for a current block; inducing, as a merge candidate, motion information from neighboring blocks of the current block when the prediction mode for the current block is a merge mode or a skip mode; and constituting the merge candidate list by using the motion information of the neighboring blocks and the deep parity information induced from the neighboring blocks of the current block.
