Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to use of cyclic prefix (CP) extensions for channel occupancy time (COT) sharing among sidelink user equipment devices (UEs) are provided. A first UE detects a first sidelink transmission in a COT, the COT for sharing with multiple sidelink UEs including the first sidelink UE. The first UE may determine a CP extension length for transmitting a second sidelink transmission after the first sidelink transmission, where a gap duration between the first sidelink transmission and the second sidelink transmission satisfies a listen-before-talk (LBT) gap time threshold. The first UE may apply a CP extension having the CP extension length to the second sidelink transmission and transmit, to a second sidelink UE, the second sidelink transmission with the CP extension.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive synchronization signal block (SSB) related measurement configurations exclusively in a system information block (SIB). The UE may receive SSB frequency lists for idle measurements in both a SIB or a radio resource control (RRC) message, such as an RRC release message. In some examples, the UE may receive SSB related measurement configurations or SSB frequency lists for idle measurements in a SIB and an RRC message. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive SSB frequency lists in a SIB and an RRC message, while SSB measurement configurations for SSB frequencies out of a sync raster may exclusively be indicated in the RRC message. The UE may therefore experience improved coverage and reliability and, in some examples, may promote low latency for wireless communications relating to multiple radio access technologies, among other benefits.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a user equipment (UE) reporting unified access control (UAC) measurements to a network. In an example operation, the UE receives a configuration from the network indicating one or more measurements (e.g., UAC measurements) to record. Thereafter, the UE performs an attempt to access the network and records the one or more measurements associated with the attempt. The UE then reports, to the network, an availability of the one or more measurements after the attempt is performed. The UE may then receive from the network a request for at least one measurement of the one or more measurements. If so, the UE reports the at least one measurement to the network. The UE may transmit a relay discovery announcement on a communication channel of a sidelink to indicate support for relay communications. A remote UE may monitor for and receive the relay discovery announcement on the sidelink communications channel. The remote UE may select the relay UE based on a set of criteria for selecting a candidate relay UE. The remote UE and the relay UE may establish the relay communications based on the relay discovery announcement transmitted on the communications channel of the relay sidelink.
