Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a control information transmission method and apparatus. The control information transmission method includes: determining, by a network device, N pieces of to-be-jointly-coded downlink control information DCI, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2; coding, by the network device, the N pieces of DCI in a polar coding manner, to obtain one codeword; and mapping, by the network device, the codeword to a time-frequency resource of a downlink control channel for sending. According to the embodiments of the present invention, not only a relatively high coding gain can be obtained, but a relatively low average processing latency on a decoder side can also be obtained.

Abstract: When cell system information changes, a first terminal device receives, during on duration of the first terminal device, system information sent by a second terminal device, so that the first terminal device can receive the system information through a sidelink between the first terminal device and the second terminal device without a need to maintain a cellular link, thereby reducing complexity and power consumption of system information transmission. Alternatively, when cell system information changes and a first terminal device has only one receive radio frequency chain, the first terminal device obtains system information within a gap period of communication between the second terminal device and the first terminal device through a link between the first terminal device and a network device, so that the first terminal device maintains a cellular link only within the gap period, thereby reducing complexity and power consumption of system information transmission to some extent.

Abstract: A communications method and apparatus to implement radio frequency link sharing, improve radio frequency link utilization, and increase an uplink transmission rate. The first configuration information is used to indicate a first reference signal resource of a first antenna port, and the second configuration information is used to indicate a second reference signal resource of a second antenna port; or the first configuration information is used to indicate a third reference signal resource of a first quantity of antenna ports, and the second configuration information is used to indicate a fourth reference signal resource of a second quantity of antenna ports. The terminal sends a first reference signal based on the first configuration information and sends a second reference signal based on the second configuration information.

Abstract: A path switching method includes: determining, by a base station, to switch a first terminal device from a first communication link to a second communication link, and sending, to the first terminal device by using a second terminal device, access information required by the first terminal device to access the base station, so that the first terminal device establishes the second communication link to the base station based on the access information. In the method, the second terminal device may release the first communication link before or after the second communication link is established, or may release the first communication link in a process of establishing the second communication link.

Abstract: A method includes: obtaining a first sequence corresponding to a basic code length N0; determining N to-be-encoded bits, where the N to-be-encoded bits include N2 fixed bits, and N is greater than the basic code length N0; extending the first sequence to obtain a second sequence; determining locations of the N2 fixed bits in the N to-be-encoded bits based on polar channel serial numbers indicated by first N2 elements in the second sequence; and performing polar encoding on the N to-be-encoded bits to obtain encoded bits. The locations of the fixed bits in the N to-be-encoded bits are determined based on the second sequence, and the second sequence is obtained by extending the first sequence corresponding to the basic code length N0.

In this method, a first device determines a to-be-transmitted data frame, where the to-be-transmitted data frame carries an identifier of an operator to which the first device belongs (100); the first device transmits the to-be-transmitted data frame to a second device (110); and the second device processes, according to the identifier of the operator to which the first device belongs, the data frame transmitted by the first device (210). Because the to-be-transmitted data frame determined by the first device carries the identifier of the operator to which the first device belongs, the first device can accurately perform channel measurement and feedback.
