The waterproofness of the electrode assembly is reliable and durable, and the electrocardiogram of the living body during swimming can be efficiently and accurately recorded, no current leakage phenomenon occurs, the entanglement of the cable with legs and arms can be removed.

    摘要: A clip-type electrode includes a pair of clamping plates arranged to be opened and closed relative to each other about a common shaft and having concave surfaces facing each other, an electrode member mounted on one of the clamping plates, and a spring coiled around the common shaft for biasing the ends of the clamping plates remote from the common shaft towards each other. One of the clamping plates is longer than the other. The electrode member includes a strip of resilient, electrically conductive material bent into a U-shaped cross-section thus providing a pressuring plate section for applying pressure to the limb of a patient, and a pair of engagement plates each extending upwardly from opposing edges of the pressuring plate section and having plural inwardly projecting bosses. The engagement plates clamp the longitudinal edges of the longer one of the clamping plates for attaching the electrode member to the clamping plate. The pressuring plate section is brought into intimate contact with the surface of the skin of the patient's limb to make the contact resistance uniform and eliminate noise or distortion in the output waveform, thereby making possible accurate diagnosis of the condition of the heart. Since one of the pair of the clamping plates is longer than the other, the electrode is unlikely to be detached by movement of the limb.

    摘要: A blood pressure measuring apparatus to measure blood pressure based on a change in a pressure by a cuff mounted to a subject comprises: cuff pressure controlling means for deflating the cuff after avascularization by the cuff at a body part around which the cuff is placed; detecting means for detecting the change in a pressure by the cuff and outputting the detection as an electrical signal; extracting means for extracting a pulse wave signal from the electrical signal; and calculating means for calculating a systolic blood pressure value and a diastolic blood pressure value based on a relation between a change rate of an index value which is calculated by multiplying a maximum amplitude of each pulse of the pulse wave signal by the cuff pressure corresponding to the maximum amplitude and a predetermined value. The blood pressure measuring apparatus achieves a high-speed measurement while suppressing the reduction of accuracy.

    摘要: The present invention provides a telemeter for medical care to determine position information of a patient in a narrow range in the following manner. Position information transmitters using electromagnetic induction radio are arranged at necessary positions in a medical facility, and a receiver for receiving position information is built in the telemeter for medical care carried by each of patients. The position information is superimposed on a signal transmitted by the telemeter transmitter for medical care and a receiving device receives the position information together with the living body information of the patient. Further, the past position information of the patient is stored and compared with the present position information of the patient.
