摘要: Compositions and methods are described for the delivery of a fully human post-translationally modified (HuPTM) monoclonal antibody (“mAb”) or the antigen-binding fragment of a mAb against human vascular endothelial growth factor (“hVEGF”) —such as, e.g., a fully human-glycosylated (HuGly) anti-h VEGF antigen-binding fragment—to the retina/vitreal humour in the eye(s) of human subjects diagnosed with ocular diseases caused by increased neovascularization, for example, neovascular age-related macular degeneration (“nAMD”), also known as “wet” age-related macular degeneration (“WAMD”), age-related macular degeneration (“AMD”), and diabetic retinopathy.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a three-dimensional electrochemical lithium battery includes forming a first electrode on an underlying layer comprising aerosolizing a first ink formulation comprising a slurry including nanoparticles or microparticles of a first active material and a binder, and depositing the slurry onto the underlying layer to form a first electrode layer. A permeable separator layer is formed on the first electrode by aerosolizing a polymer precursor solution, exposing the aerosolized polymer precursor solution to a first activating radiation source to form partially cured polymer spheres in the aerosolized stream, focusing and directing the aerosolized stream onto a substrate to form the permeable separator layer of the partially cured polymer spheres, and exposing the partially cured polymer spheres on the substrate to a second activating radiation source to fully cure the partially cured polymer spheres. A second electrode is formed on the permeable separator layer by aerosolizing a second ink formulation comprising a slurry including nanoparticles or microparticles of a second active material and a binder, and depositing the slurry onto the permeable separator layer.

摘要: This disclosure features chemical entities (e.g., a compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or an N-oxide thereof) of formula (I), which are positive allosteric modulators of one or more GABA-A receptors, e.g., which are peripherally restricted, positive allosteric modulators of one or more GABA-A receptors; e.g., which are positive allosteric modulators of one or more GABA-A receptors and which selectively target the peripheral nervous system and organs of the body, and which do not substantially pass through the blood-brain barrier. Said compounds are useful e.g., for the treatment of systemic diseases of the body, e.g., diseases in which modulation of one or more peripherally restricted GABA-A receptors is beneficial (e.g., diseases or disorders which are mediated by GABA-A neuronal activity. This disclosure also features pharmaceutical compositions containing the chemical entities described herein as well as methods of using same for the treatment of systemic diseases of the body.

摘要: Provided herein are antifouling filtration membranes that include a membrane substrate and an antifouling coating disposed on at least one surface of the membrane substrate. The antifouling coating comprises a plurality of zwitterionic molecules or moieties at a density sufficient to form a hydration shell when an aqueous input composition contacts the antifouling coating. The hydration shell substantially prevents fouling components in the aqueous input composition from adsorbing on the membrane substrate while substantially permitting target permeate molecules in the aqueous input composition to flow through the membrane substrate. Additional methods and related devices, systems, and kits are also provided.
