摘要： A hydraulic bushing assembly includes an inner tube, an elastomeric bushing disposed around the inner tube, an insert disposed around the elastomeric bushing and an outer tube disposed around the insert. The elastomeric bushing and the insert define a pair of chambers which are connected by a passageway defined by the insert. A pair of intermediate tubes are disposed in the elastomeric bushing at opposite axial ends of the insert.

An annular gap is defined between the pair of outer components. 摘要： An elastomeric isolator has an elastomeric body which incorporates an inner structural member and an outer structural member. The elastomeric body includes a shear hub extending between radial flanges defined by the inner and outer structural members that undergoes shearing stresses during deflection of the elastomeric isolator. The inner and outer structural members are designed to provide a travel stop for the elastomeric isolator in order to avoid compression of the shear hub during high loads. The elastomeric bushing can also includes an optional integral elastomeric heat shield which protects the shear hub.

摘要： A pivot bushing for a suspension system has an inner metal and a split outer metal with an elastomeric bushing disposed between the metals. The split outer metal has one end which is partially closed by an inwardly curved portion and one end which is open. The assembly of the bushing is through the open end. Once assembled the open end is closed by placing a cover over the open end and crimping the cover to a flange formed at the open end. In another embodiment, the cover is inserted into the outer metal and the split outer metal is crimped to secure the cover in place.

摘要： A tube cutter mechanism supports an arm from which a tube supporting anvil extends, the anvil being aligned with the tube cutter mechanism for cutting the supoorted tube. During cutting, an axial force is imposed on the tube and anvil. The arm is formed such that it bends in response to the force, storing energy such that rotation of the tube occurs for more than one revolution of the tube without advancing the cutter wheel. The device is formed of molded glass fiber reinforce nylon, preferably ZYTEL. In a second embodiment, the arm does not bend and the anvil is constructed so as to bend relative to the arm in response to the axial cutting force permitting rotation of the tube during cutting beyond a single revolution without advancing the cutter wheel. The anvil advantageously does not have a cutter wheel for burnishing the tube to remove oxides during cutting. In the alternative, the anvil may also have a pair of cutting wheels

摘要： A vibration bushing damping device includes an inner member and an outer member which is axially paralleled to the inner member and which encloses a substantial section of the inner member. A vibration absorbing resilient body is interposed between the inner and outer members. The body includes a first fluid holding chamber. A second fluid holding chamber is defined between the resilient body and the outer member. The second fluid chamber communicates with the first fluid chamber through a first fluid passageway. A rigid body is movably mounted in the first fluid passageway for controlling fluid flow through the first passageway to a varying extent depending on the position of the rigid body. A second fluid flow path is also provided for the fluid in the first fluid chamber.
