摘要: It is described a method for distributing radio resources between a first radio link between a primary network element being assigned to a first hierarchic level of a network and a first secondary network element being assigned to a second hierarchic level and a second radio link between the primary network element and a second secondary network element being assigned to the second hierarchic level. The method includes (a) transmitting respectively a first resource allocation parameter from the first and the second secondary network element to a decision unit, the first resource allocation parameter being indicative for a minimum performance requirement, (b) transmitting respectively a second resource allocation parameter from the first and the second secondary network element to the decision unit, the second resource allocation parameter being indicative for a performance increase for the respective radio link following an allocation of additional radio resources, and (c) distributing the radio resources between the first and the second radio link based on the first and the second resource allocation parameter.

摘要: A method and system are described for including data quality in data streams. An example method may include obtaining a first group of data items, each data item including one or more data attribute values. A first group of data quality items may be determined, each data quality item including one or more data quality attribute values associated with one of the data items of the first group. A first aggregated data quality value may be determined based on the first group of data quality items. A first data stream interval including the first group of data items and the first aggregated data quality value may be output.

摘要: Data rates of simultaneous radio transmissions of data are matched for services over a connection between a base station and a subscriber station by determining a service-specific rate matching factor for one of the services based on a steady-state rate matching factor and a dynamic rate matching factor. The dynamic connection-oriented rate matching factor is based on the steady-state matching factor. The dynamic-connection oriented rate matching factor matches a sum of a volume of data for the services over the connection to a volume of data available in a next frame of data. In addition, the data is compressed or expanded for the one of the services based on the corresponding service-specific rate matching factor.

摘要: According to the invention, signalling of the used common channels is carried out implicitly via the data rate. Several combinations of channels (spread codes) are only permitted as an alternative for particular data rates of the individual services. Transmission capacity is saved since it is not necessary to reserve individual bits inside the TFCI parameter uniquely for the allocation of said common channels to different connections. The invention is especially useful in the downlink of the FDD modus of UMTS mobile radio systems.

摘要: The correlations of different channel impulse responses are used to improve, simplify and optimize the assessment of wire-free transmission channels in telecommunications systems. In particular, the different channel and pulse responses are correlated by identifying a similarity between the different responses and driving a mean channel impulse response from the different channel impulse responses when they are identified as similar.
