    Abstract: According to the present invention, one or more image pairs, each consisting of a fluoroscopic image and an angiographic image taken from the same position and the same viewing direction onto the patient and each being a non-stitched image, are acquired. A live fluoroscopic image is registered individually with the fluoroscopic image within the at least one of the one or more image pairs, such that the spatial relationship between the live fluoroscopic image and the at least one fluoroscopic image, and thus with the one or more angiographic images and the one or more image pairs in general, becomes known. Angiographic information representing the vascular structure can then be taken from those parts of the angiographic images within the one or more image pairs which overlap with the live fluoroscopic image and be overlayed over the live fluoroscopic image.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented medical data processing method for controlling a geometric status of a mechatronic articulable arm. Current geometric status data is acquired describing a current geometric status of the mechatronic articulable arm defined by a set of current spatial relationship between connected elements of the mechatronic articulable arm. Changed geometric status data describing a changed geometric status of the mechatronic articulable arm defined by a set of changed spatial relationship between the connected elements is determined based on current device position data, the current geometric status data, changed device position data, and device definition data. Instruction data describing an instruction for changing the geometric status of the mechatronic articulable arm from the current geometric status to the changed geometric status is determined. The instruction describes changes from the current spatial relationship to the changed spatial relationship.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of segmenting a medical patient image using an atlas and relating the segmentation result to a model of possible geometric changes to the segmentation result (e.g. for correcting the position of the segmentation of anatomical structures) which consider for example anatomical limitations. The thus-related segmentation result may be used as a basis for changing and/or correcting the position, shape and/or orientation of at least parts of the segmentation result, e.g. by user interaction. The invention also relates to an atlas data set comprising information such as values of the variables of the model of possible geometric changes in relation to the positions of anatomical structures in the atlas.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a medical data processing method for determining an indicator relating to an injury of an anatomical structure (1) of a patient, wherein the method comprises executing, on at least one processor (5) of at least one computer (3), steps of:

    a) acquiring (S1) acceleration data describing an energy of a set of one or more signals in dependence on both time and frequency, the set of signals acquired by measuring the acceleration of the anatomical structure (1) over time;
    b) acquiring (S2) analysis data describing an analysis rule for determining at least one of

    b1) an overall energy level of at least one signal of the set of signals,
    b2) a correlation between at least two signals of the set of signals in the frequency domain, the at least two signals respectively measured at at least two different respective regions of the anatomical structure (1), or
    b3) a relationship between energies given for at least two different frequency ranges of at least one signal of the set of signals;

    c) determining (S3) indicator data describing the indicator based on the acceleration data and the analysis data.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of overlaying a representation of a medical instrument over a two-dimensional medical image. It finds at least one feature point along a detection line which is defined relative to the medical instrument in the medical image, calculates a geometrical quantity based on this feature point and adds the geometrical quantity to the two-dimensional medical image.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a medical data processing method of determining the representation of an anatomical body part (2) of a patient (1) in a sequence of medical images, the anatomical body part (2) being subject to a vital movement of the patient (1), the method being constituted to be executed by a computer and comprising the following steps:

    a) acquiring advance medical image data comprising a time-related advance medical image comprising a representation of the anatomical body part (2) in a specific movement phase;
    b) acquiring current medical image data describing a sequence of current medical images, wherein the sequence comprises a specific current medical image comprising a representation of the anatomical body part (2) in the specific movement phase, and a tracking current medical image which is different from the specific current medical image and comprises a representation of the anatomical body part (2) in a tracking movement phase which is different from the specific movement phase;
    c) determining, based on the advance medical image data and the current medical image data, specific image subset data describing a specific image subset of the specific current medical image, the specific image subset comprising the representation of the anatomical body part (2);
    d) determining, based on the current medical image data and the image subset data, subset tracking data describing a tracked image subset in the tracking current medical image, the tracked image subset comprising the representation of the anatomical body part (2).
