摘要: A patient-positioning system for radiotherapy is provided. The system includes a processing device and a storage device. The processing device loads a program from the storage device to execute a control module, a positioning room module, and a treatment room module. The control module obtains treatment planning data. The positioning room module calculates the second support displacement of the fulcrum through image registration based on the tilt angle, rotation angle, target displacement, original target point cloud, and a reference displacement. The treatment room module drives the mechanical device to move the treatment room table such that the fulcrum is at the second support displacement relative to the beam exit.

摘要: The disclosed calibration method includes a calibration phantom positioned on an adjustable table on the surface of a mechanical couch, with the phantom's centre at an estimated location for the iso-centre of a radio therapy treatment apparatus. The calibration phantom is then irradiated using the apparatus, and the relative location of the center of the calibration phantom and the iso-centre of the apparatus is determined by analyzing images of the irradiation of the calibration phantom. The calibration phantom is then repositioned by the mechanical couch applying an offset corresponding to the determined relative location of the centre of the calibration phantom and the iso-centre of the apparatus to the calibration phantom. Images of the relocated calibration phantom are obtained, to which the offset has been applied, and the obtained images are processed to set the co-ordinate system of a stereoscopic camera system relative to the iso-centre of the apparatus.

摘要: The accuracy charged-particle beam trajectories used for radiation therapy in patients is improved by providing feedback on the beam location within a patient's body or a quality assurance phantom. Particle beams impinge on a patient or phantom in an arrangement designed to deliver radiation dose to a tumor, while avoiding as much normal tissue as can be achieved. By placing fiducial markers in the tumor or phantom that contain specific atomic constituents, a detection signal consisting of atomic fluorescence is produced by the particle beam. An algorithm can combine the detected fluorescence signal with the known location of the fiducial markers to determine the location of the particle beam in the patient or phantom.

摘要: In a method for synchronous magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and radiation therapy using a combined system having a radiation apparatus and an MR imaging apparatus, wherein the system is designed to record MR signals of a subject during irradiation of the subject, a three-dimensional MR volume data set of the subject is acquired that contains a target volume for the irradiation, the location of a central beam of the radiation therapy apparatus relative to the subject, is continuously determined, and a second MR image data set is determined, which is positioned essentially perpendicular to the central beam. If the location of the central beam changes, a correspondingly changed second MR image data set is determined perpendicular to the central beam.
