Abstract:
A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes a channel setting storage unit which stores mode selection information about a plurality of channel designation modes each of which designates a way of setting an initial channel to be automatically tuned to upon turning on the display apparatus. The display apparatus also includes a control unit which, upon turning on the display apparatus, determines one of the channel designation modes based on the stored mode selection information, and controls the display apparatus to automatically tune to a channel, designated to be the initial channel by the determined channel designation mode.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes: a saving part; a user inputting part; a receiving part which receives broadcasting signal including at least one data information; a signal processing part which performs signal processing by extracting the data information from the received broadcasting signal; and a controlling part which enables a user to determine whether to save the data information through the user inputting part if the data information is received, and controls the signal processing part to save the data information determined to be saved in the saving part.
Abstract:
An open cable broadcast processing apparatus which includes a tuner is provided. The apparatus further includes: a signal processor which selectively processes at least one media data received through a broadcasting signal based on media setting information; an interface which outputs a tuning command according to a channel changing command of an application when the application is received; and a controller which prestores media identification information on at least one media data supplied through respective channels, controls the tuner to change a first channel to a second channel according to the tuning command output from the interface, and sets the media setting information to process reference media data among the at least one media data received through the other channel, based on the media identification information. Thus, the open cable broadcast processing apparatus can reduce time to change a channel by an application.
Abstract:
A wireless transmitting and/or receiving system and method of sharing analog information between a transmitter and a receiver connected to the transmitter by a wireless channel. The wireless transmitting and/or receiving system includes a transmitter that extracts analog signal and information from an analog broadcast signal, converts the analog signal into a transport stream that is then sent to a first wireless channel, transmits the analog information to a second wireless channel when the analog information is extracted, and updates previously stored first analog information with the received analog information, and a receiver that decodes the transport stream received from the transmitting means via the first wireless channel and updates previously stored second analog information with the analog information received by the second wireless channel.
Abstract:
An apparatus for detecting a sync signal in a digital data record/replay device having a parallel clock generator, a parallel data generator, and a window unit comprises: a sync signal detector for comparing a pattern matching sync signal output from a sync pattern detector with an output signal of the window unit and detecting a sync signal according to clocks of the parallel clock generator; a latch unit for latching the sync signal detected by the sync signal detector and outputting the sync signal as a sync position signal according to clocks of the parallel clock generator; an identification error correction code (ID ECC) controller for generating an ID ECC control signal according to the sync position signal of the latch unit; an ID ECC decoder for decoding ID areas of parallel data generated by the parallel data generator; and a sync signal checking unit for outputting the sync position signal of the latch unit as a final sync signal and, when errors are detected as a result of the ID ECC decoding, sending a control signal to the window unit. The present invention can check sync signals using the ID ECC and restore normal sync signals when an initial sync signal is erroneously detected due to unstableness of initial window signal or when sync signals are missed and erroneously detected due to change of clocks during the normal replay.
Abstract:
A synchronizing signal detector for a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus includes a first comparator for comparing a given synchronizing signal pattern with externally input data in a certain bit unit and outputting the number of the same bits in each of comparison unit, a detecting portion for detecting a maximum value of the outputs of the first comparator, and a signal processor for outputting data corresponding to a position where the maximum value from the detecting portion occurs primarily, as a synchronizing signal. In the synchronizing signal detector for a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus, since the position where the synchronizing signal is generated is detected by comparing the synchronizing signal pattern with the input data, the synchronizing signal detecting error occurs scarcely, thereby improving reliability of the detected synchronizing signal.
Abstract:
An apparatus for a digital video tape recorder for detecting a sync signal in digital data includes: a data restoring device for producing serial data and a serial clock signal received from a reproducing head of the digital video tape device; a servo device for producing a head switching pulse and a super-video home system (S-VHS)/video home system (VHS) discriminating signal; an identification detecting device for producing a signal indicative of an end of reading one segment of tracks; and a sync signal detecting device, responsive to each signal produced by the aforementioned devices, for determining correspondence in sync patterns even in a case where not all corresponding bits coincide with one another, for removing erroneously detected sync patterns using a window situated around a position at which a sync signal is produced, and for detecting a sync signal.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a hat which can prevent a golfer's head-up occurring in an actual swing during swing practice or a golf round, and can prevent surroundings causing a hindrance to the swing from coming into the golfer's view so as to enable the golfer to stably swing, so that the golfer can accurately hit a golf ball and increase a driving distance, and can have an excellent shot feeling. The present invention comprises: a holding hole formed in a brim protruding forward from and connected to the cap of a hat; and a gaze-holding member which is fitted in the holding hole, so as to allow the direction of a user's gaze to coincide with a ball and thus enable the user to perform a follow-through action while gazing at the ball until the moment of impact.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a golf club for practicing swings which enables learning a smooth rhythmic sensation under the concept of hitting a ball with a sphere having a metal texture, so as to maintain a stable swing track involving proper rhythm in real swings to correctly send a ball to a desired position. The golf club for practicing swings comprises: a shaft provided with a handle at the top end; and a head coupled to the bottom end of the shaft, wherein the sphere providing a metallic material sensation is integrally formed with the face of the head or detachably formed on the head, thereby providing an image of softly hitting a ball with the sphere made from the metallic material during practice swings.
