摘要: A computer implemented method is described for determining message transmission time in a time division multiple access communications network. The method includes the steps of: a) receiving a request message having one of a set of communications type categories from a first communications resource, a source address which identifies the first communications resource, and a destination address which identifies a second communications resource; b) directing the request message to a message request processor for processing a message request having the communication type category; c) determining if a communications link is connectable between the first and second communication resources; d) generating a first message type if the determination in step (c) is that no communications link is connectable between the first and second communication resources; e) searching for assignable time slots within a periodic time frame comprising multiple time slots for transmitting a message so that the second communications resource is receptive to receiving the message during one of the time slots if the determination in step (d) is that a communications link is connectable between the first and second communications resources; f) generating a second message type if any assignable time slots are identified in step (e); and g) returning to step (a) if no assignable time slots are identified in step (e).

摘要: An improved golf cart display panel comprises an elongated plastic body forming a frame through which a color graphic representation of holes on a golf course can be viewed. The plastic body is sized to be mounted to the golf cart extending between the upstanding roof support posts on the front of the cart with the graphic display being presented to a golfer in the cart. The graphic display includes areas for advertising copy allowing sponsors to advertise their products and services to golfers riding in the cart.

摘要: A system and method for measuring a height of objects on a moving surface comprising providing a linear image sensor positioned transverse to a direction of travel of the moving surface, and at least one light source positioned collinear to the linear image sensor and proximate to an edge of the moving surface so that the light source projects a unique patterned light sequence across a width of the moving surface, detecting a transverse shift in a portion of the unique patterned light sequence with respect to the direction of travel of the moving surface as an object passes through the unique patterned light sequence, determining an amount of shift of the portion of the unique patterned light sequence, and determining a height of the object based on the portion of the unique patterned light sequence shift.

摘要: The invention provides a press in style motor attachment mount assembly. The assembly includes a motor and a vibration isolator. The motor has an end portion axially remote from the output end and a stop facing the output end. The vibration isolator includes a cup that axially receives the end portion of the motor. The cup includes an end wall, a sidewall, and flexible fingers integrally connected to the sidewall. The flexible fingers have a flexed position in which the tip of the flexible finger is disposed radially outwardly to allow axial assembly of the end portion of the motor into the cup and a locking position where the tip engages the first radial stop to prevent axial detachment of the motor from the cup.

摘要: A conductor feedthrough is provided for allowing an electrical conductor, cable, wire, etc., to be passed through a wall of a pressurized vessel (e.g., a compressor vessel forming part of a refrigeration or air conditioning system) while maintaining a hermetic seal within the vessel and providing resistance to mechanical stress imparted on the conductor. The feedthrough comprises a first casting formed on a portion of a conductor, a fitting engageable with the first casting and inserted into an aperture in a vessel wall, and a second casting formed on an end of the first casting. The fitting is engaged with the first casting in such a manner as to prevent relative rotational movement between the first casting and the fitting. The feedthrough maintains a hermetic seal within the vessel and locks the conductor in place to provide resistance to mechanical stress and/or torque applied to the conductor.
