摘要： A pendulum-type electromagnetic actuator is provided. The actuator includes a curved stationary member comprising a stationary core and a winding wound about the stationary core. A first moving member includes a first moving core and a first plurality of permanent magnets attached to the first moving core, the first moving member is curved and positioned on a first side of the stationary member. A second moving member includes a second moving core and a second plurality of permanent magnets attached to the second moving core, the second moving member is curved and position on a second side of the stationary member, the second side opposite the first side. The actuator further includes a pivot and a pivot connector connecting at least one of the first moving member and the second moving member to the pivot such that the curved moving member rotates about the pivot.

摘要： A check valve for a housing with adjacent first and second apertures separated by a septum comprises a hinge pin, a first flapper, and a second flapper. The hinge pin is located downstream of the septum. The first flapper is anchored via the hinge pin, and is rotatable about the hinge pin to block the first aperture when in a closed position. The second flapper is anchored via the hinge pin, and comprises a primary flapper section and a counterbalance section. The primary flapper section is rotatable about the hinge pin to block the second aperture when in a closed position. The counterbalance section extends upstream from and substantially parallel to the primary flapper section, towards the first aperture.

摘要： An electric machine includes a stator disposed about an axis in register with the rotor. The stator has a plurality of slots parallel to the axis. A plurality of windings with generally rectangular cross sections is provided with each winding having a first portion disposed radially inward of a second portion relative to the axis. At least two of the plurality of windings are at least partially inserted into each of the plurality of slots. The plurality of generally rectangular windings in each of the plurality of slots is configured to reduce resistive loss within the stator.
